  1. Just use it as a learning experience. Losses go hand and hand with doing your own thing. The frustration involved in getting the money eventually can outweigh the satisfaction the two hundred could’ve provided

  2. Look into filing a mechanics lien against the property. Usually for work that improves the value of the property but worth looking into.

  3. Take your $200 worth off his property and never answer his texts and phone calls again Karma is a B**

  4. You’d find out where he works and catch him either going into or coming out of work hopefully with some work mates and then in front of them all you say hey man your bill is past due I didn’t wanna make it a problem but you been missing my calls all month and you need to pay me. Usually jus being embarrassed in front of his ppl will force him to pull out money and pay as to not lol like a brokie lol

  5. I know what you can do stop doing their property and when they contact you, that’s when you clarify the 200 and get paid to continue service

  6. Try knocking on his door. Maybe he had a medical emergency? But honestly If you respected this client you'd check on their well being before crying about it on social media.
If still no answer call in a welfare check. If they are truly blowing you off and not paying you. Then just quit doing the maintenance.

  7. He is not dead, he’s just avoiding payment for some reason. I honestly believe he may have just been too prideful to tell me he couldn’t afford services anymore.

  8. Tell him you will cut the cost to work wit you he can trade wit you are you can go sit with his neighbor and drink coffee and talk about how he’s a thief lol

  9. Sometimes it is worth eating the bill, but I would make it known to him that you understand that he is not normally like this and you wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt.

  10. People doing this makes it harder for legitimate people who are having financial difficulties.. if it was me, I'd message him and give him a warning and extend it to a week. If he doesn't pay, then I will be suing.. Don't hire if you can't afford it

  11. Ask him “what can you afford to pay me now?” Put him on a payment plan. Save the relationship, save his pride, and still get your money.

  12. If they don’t pay and will not communicate with you about the bill .
You can just stop working for them . Or you can send them a message that tells the customer if you don’t pay you will put a lean on the home for the money ! Or just walk away .

  13. I can't even imagine what a landscaper would do that only costs $200. Edging my 3 car wide 2 car deep driveway costs me $600, let alone "maintenance." If i found someone that reasonably priced, I would keep them so busy they may not be able to have other clients lol. Not paying, Id knock on the door. Look into a "contractors lein" not sure how they work or if there is a minimum
