I bought a house in Hawaii a few months ago and I’m starting to turn my attention to getting the lawn back to looking lush and green and rid it of dollar weed and nut grass. Through my google research I’m not confident on the type of grass I have. Can anyone help identify it?

I’m thinking Nimblewill, but there’s no source on the Internet that says it grows in Hawaii.
It looks like Bermuda. Any 3-way will reduce the clover. You’ll be restricted on what you can spray in Hawaii. Check with Site One on what your options are

Definitely dethatch the lawn to start. You’ll be surprised how much dead grass is under there. It’s exhausting so you might want to hire someone or rent a machine if you have a lot of lawn.
