Is this cutworms? Found 7 around the dry patches while changing out some sprinklers, as weren’t getting full coverage

    Looks like a chafer grub. That’s what we call them in the UK. Not sure if that’s the same thing.

    Idk what they’re called but they’re everywhere in my lawn in California. The birds are obsessed with eating these fuckers and I enjoy watching the birds so I leave it be

    Looks like a northern masked chafer grub. Products with carbaryl and/or triclorfon can be used to kill them.
