The FDF on the right is 3 years old. The lady I purchased from said it was an elf fiddle fig. Is it normal for these to have such skinny legs? It’s super happy and very strong. Sometimes I weave it together to keep it upright and it stays healthy and happy. When I first got it, it had leaves from top to bottom. Then the bottom ones started dropping rapidly and it’s been happily growing like this ever since. Last month I tried notching but it gave me nothing just dried back up. Should I leave it alone or prune it to get the legs to grow thicker? I don’t want to disrupt her too much but I’m wondering if I need to do something now for long term growth and strength. Thoughts?

Btw the one on the left is about 8 months old and it was in a non direct light but since I moved it to this window a couple months ago it’s starting to grow quickly. Idk if it’s an elf or not I got it at Walmart and it didn’t say anything on the tag.

I have two fiddles – the one that gets blown in the wind (sits infront of a window that’s open a lot) has a super thick trunk.
My other fiddle which has never really experienced any wind has thin trunks like yours.
    Just my observation

Start giving it a Lil shake and a nice breeze from a small fan regularly and it will get strong and thick stem/trunk that way it will support the top growth mines about the circumference of 50 cent coin
I owe a lot of my success to the patio and the spring grow
