  1. Sorry you’ve been under the weather. I planted some leucojems or Snake w Drop flower bulbs in an area that doesn’t get enough sun for Daffodils to bloom. I’d like to plant something like pansies for winter. The trees overhead are pecan trees and I know they’ll loose their leaves. I hope it’s enough hours of sunlight for them to bloom over the winter. I’m in zone 8A in the Hillcountry just northwest of Marble Falls, Tx.

  2. Your free sign was a score for next year! I have bulbs that were popping up before our freezing temperatures poor little things so confused this year lol. Excited to see your Christmas decorating inside 😊

  3. I’m glad you are feeling better. We are into a cold spell as well here in NC. I know it was time but I don’t feel our plants had time to shut down properly. 😊

  4. Tip: hats covering the forehead benefit sinus sufferers. Classic beanies are ideal because they also cover ears. They protect sinuses from cold and drafts.

By the way, “free” is my favorite price. That’s one reason I like plants that multiply like daffodils, iris, etc.

  5. I, too, planted some of the small irises this year. I have a ton of the taller siberian Irises as well as some bearded Irises and last year, I planted some iris ensata (Japanese iris), which I saw in a public garden. They were beautiful and I'm hoping I get blooms this year.
We're in the 20's and 30's this week, so I'm looking at the garden through the windows.😬

  6. Good idea to break it down into small areas and I love planting after a good downpour when the ground is softer 🌺🏵️🌸 very cold in UK now 🥴❄️⛄

  7. Glad you are feeling better! The burgundy pansy with the blotch is stunning. Can’t wait to see all the color this spring! Bermuda grass…the struggle is real. 😂

  8. 🌸 Hi Amanda! I haven't watched your channel in awhile; I'm glad this video popped up in my feed today! I did not know that pansies are heliotropic; that is so cool! It's pretty warm still here in El Paso, but I'm enjoying it! Take care.

  9. Great job! While I can't garden here in northeast Indiana, you do inspire me as far as planning for 2025. Come Feb and March I start a lot of winter sowing. Watching you give me so many color combos!🥶

  10. Finally had to pull my coleus up today! That and several others haha. Can't wait to start planting with you in 2025 😃

  11. Love the hot chocolate bar idea! I hear you about how nice it is to relax at home with the fam since kids activities keep us so busy! Wishing you many cozy movie nights:)

  12. I hope you are feeling great again soon!. As far as decorations go, I buy things I love and reuse them in different places in my home.I have a bunch of irises that I have been growing since the 1980's
They started in California, went to Long Island, NY and now in the low AZ desert zone 9b. I also started coleus from seeds this year and I am in love with them. But I do have to bring them inside during the summer because they die. The ones I was able to bring in are doing so well.
