If you guys decide to come up with your own, better version of a hoselink-type hose, I’m sure we’ll ALL buy one! I love the idea of a hoselink, but not the look.
I’m with Laura. I don’t like having a tv on when we have someone over or we are guests at someone’s house. It sort of feels like the company of one another isn’t enough or something. I’d rather visit too😄
There are a lot of us who joined your YouTube channel late in the game. We'd love to see throwbacks, old videos. I think I read somewhere in the comments where somebody else suggested this as well. You could do a throwback Thursday. Or a fan favorites Friday?
Does anyone know what happened to Claus Dalby? I haven’t seen any YT or Instagram posts from him since summer. His Christmas videos were always favorites of mine.
I inherited a holiday cactus from my mom. In a few years, it has grown in size at least 6 times what it was to begin with. I have split it many times to give plants to my sibs. It's in a south facing window. I fertilize with cactus/succulent fertilizer but when it blooms, it only has 3-4 blooms on the entire plant. It has bloomed both around Easter and Christmas. Suggestions? BTW, I'm such a big fan. You are an essential part of my morning routine since I retired. I have learned so much plus find your channel entertaining and inspiring!
Hey Aaron – Have you considered getting a rolling easel for your TV so you can roll it around? There are some pretty nice ones these days. You can move the TV next to the fireplace during the game then move it out of the way when you're not using it. You might want to take a look.
An Idea! Why not invite all these Gardner's and have them make by their own choosing make a specific different project and enjoy your time together. And we can all enjoy you at the same time with some homemade cocktails😁😉❤️🎄❤️🌲❤️🎄❤️
I got the kneeling pad and the sprayer yesterday. (I got green.) That was my Christmas Present to myself == The kneeling pad is a way of saying, "I will be walking, kneeling, and planting in my yard soon," (I'm currently stuck in bed.) The second is to mist my houseplants since I live in the high desert of southern California. Thank you so much for offering these products!
Thanks for being honest about the artificial trees. I wish Laura well with figuring out how to get more sleep. I have to physically wear myself out, not eat too late, no sugar late in the day, no caffeine at all, no alcohol in the evenings and stop scrolling late in the evening. It’s like a puzzle 🧩
I feel exactly like you, Laura, regarding Balsam Hill. This is the 3rd year for mine and one part has started to dim when wiggled, too! Plus the way they wrapped the lights in some places is incorrect and makes a couple branches have to hang incorrectly. I saw where Home Depot now has Balsam Hill trees that are made for sale at HD, and they look great and are MUCH cheaper! Great video!! And I think Aaron needs his football space! 😉
I just love how down to earth you are .I just can't get into anyone else because you just feel so comfortable to be with, its like really being with you, love you for inviting me into your world
Hi Laura, I live in Canada, Zone 5 and I’ve been sowing Poppyseeds in the winter (heard that on one of your videos) and have had tremendous success! I scatter the seeds after a heavy snowfall and they always out perform themselves in growth and beautiful blooms!
My work has gnats 24/7/365. Our "cleaning crew" has never once cleaned out sinks so gnats love to breed in the sink drains. I watch them fly out every single day.
I agree about the lights. I live in the country, so there are no street lights. It is pitch black at night. I am the ONLY house with lights on our road. It’s crazy to me. If the lights don’t deter crime, then my Rottweiler, Pit Bull and three Shar-peis will 😂😂😂😂. So basically my house is protected by my babies, and my babies are protected by my gun. Show me a house in the country that doesn’t contain those things though.
Laura, MAGNESIUM 400-500mg+MELATONIN 10-20mg + doxylamine succinate(1/3 of a pill) will do wonders for you at night ! I am insomniac as well , so I can relate . Ps it doesn’t make you groggy or dependable . Magnesium is naturally needed more with age , especially for women 40 and up
I leave my Christmas lights on all day too, my neighibors didn't and squirrels chewed all the lights out of their strands and left the bulbs in a pile. They wouldn't chew ours while lit..😊
Oh yes they do remember 😂my children now range in the 30 and 40’s. They still talk about how they would get up the next day after decorating the tree and feel sad because I had moved all their ornaments decorations around😂🤪
Hey wait what about Jenny and Jerry @Gardening with Creekside? It is NUH-ti-vuh-tee but I like NA-ti-vuh-tee just as well, the meaning is the same either way!!
Thanks for answering my question! I'm so impressed that you can stay up late, wake up early, AND get so much done! I'm like Aaron—I need eight hours of sleep to feel like myself. I'm currently working at setting my alarm clock 15 minutes earlier every week, and forcing myself to put down my phone at bedtime—that's the hard part! Thanks again! 🙌
Hey Laura and Aaron…I watched Eric on Epic Gardening doing a nursery tour in San Diego. There was a piano in the nursery and Eric sat down and played a tune for his mom (she made him take lessons as a kid. Lol). I think it’s your turn to play a tune for us and show him he is not the only Youtube gardener that plays. 🥰
I just recently purchased my first Balsam Hill Christmas tree. I was so disappointed with the quality of the tree. I sent it back and got a refund. Definitely not worth the money.
Bethlehem lights has beautiful Christmas trees. They are sold on QVC. Look under as is & they are much more affordable + have many more functions for lights.
When I am potting up house plants or starting seeds in our basement I have been microwaving the soil until it is steaming and that has resolved the majority of my gnat problem.

Hide a hose link on the ground underneath a fake rock.

Sounds like you guys need a home theater room for game day or movie night
My SIL offered to weed my spring poppy bed. She literally pulled all the poppies and left the weeds! 😂
The warehouse is big enough and wouldn't be hard to set up for a football party. It wouldn't be home comfy or super nice but it would work!
Spending time with your kids is worth it. They won’t be these age.. yeah do it.
Aaron needs a man cave so he can have a TV and be able to invite friends to watch sports with him.

I've never been able to get anything to grow in my green stalk. Do you have a video with tips?
❤❤❤❤

Definitely take as much time off as you guys need. We will be here!

Did I miss the night light tour of the property?😮
Nativité in French. Laura you pronounced the a like a french 🎉
Would love to see Wednesday videos that combines the progress over the years of a certain area of a garden 😊

What is soil blocking?
Play games and snacks 🥰
How about a Hartley style enclosure for the balcony? Sun balcony with AC of course.

Wilt Pruf is great, very effective!
