  1. I’m always excited when you have posted a new video! So great to see an update on how you are using the front shade trellises and how you are tackling the Perth summer sun! I just bought my first home in Perth so am taking all the inspiration for setting up my own garden (the yard is currently all sand 😅)

  2. Another lovely video, thanks. I line my black pots with newspaper to keep the plants cool. So far all is good. My yellow tomato has really lovely fruit. Stay cool this week, yes it is going to be warm.😊

  3. It gets hot in Perth eh.
My son is working up near Newman and he's just told me it's 44c there today. Lucky it's low humidity.

  4. Hey Holly Everything looks amazing! Good tip with catching the seeds on head of seedling. Check out rampicante or tromboncino is prolific it might fill space quickly for shade🌿🌸🌻

  5. Thank you for the video. Would really appreciate it if you could do a video showing how your shade sail is set up. I'm in Armadale and its so windy here, the market umbrella i have keeps being knocked over.

  6. Oh Holly, have you never heard of labels? 😊 I do the random seed planting too but usually when I already can't remember what the seeds were.
Your garden is looking great. I'm thinking of using shade cloth here in Melbourne too. The weather is all over the place.
    Cheers and Merry Xmas!

  7. I love your idea of chucking different fruit seeds in 1 large pot. I'm going to do multiple varieties of 1 type of fruit in each large pot starting with passionfruit and another for apricots.
You could try rockmelons and honeydews for your vertical space as they are supposed to support their own weight until they ripen. I haven't tried it in previous years but intend to this summer.
