  1. Jerra it is bad right now!! especially with the caterpillars & worms. Today I had to pull out some basil and I found 10 florida fern caterpillars in the container partying having a good time eating my basil to the roots.

  2. These are the hottest months, and I prefer to grow things that don't take as much work during this time of year. Sweet potatoes, seminole pumpkins etc. I pretty much just let them do their thing.

  3. Yes. In Missouri the insect invasion is horrible, even using insect control. I’ve given up on summer gardening all together and will be planting in mid September.

  4. I’m new to gardening and boy what a terrible time of year to get into it 😂 I’m disappointed in almost all of the vegetables I started from seed last month (cucumbers, squash, watermelon, radishes, beets, cilantro, oregano) the tomatoes, basil, peppers and and roselle are doing well though. I’m going to focus on heat loving flowers instead of vegetables for this month. Oh and out of 7 moringa seeds, one sprouted and is doing well so I’m happy about that. That one sprouted after I followed your advice from your video on growing moringa so thanks for sharing your knowledge with us!
