Thank you, wishing you all a very blessed Christmas xx
I actually teared up at the beauty of family, the kids and Jeremiah bringing ornaments showing them to you was so beautiful.❤️🎄
If you using command tape, be careful, Command tape shattered my 6 frames, since then, I use good old Nails. Bless you all❤
This was wonderful to watch. Love your picture wall and the many pictures you have put up. I made a mistake of giving my kids their pictures when they moved out so they would have them but left me with nothing to look at. I have a few from the grandkids but none of my 4 children when they were young. Nowadays I would have taken pictures of the ones I gave them do I would have memories to look at. Love your Christmas tree. The kids are just adorable. Want to see the tree once Jackson comes home to decorate. Thank you again for sharing your family. They are your jewels. Hearts and Flowers coming your way. ❤️💐🎄🌝☃️❄️🙏
Perfect IS the enemy of Good!! Everything looks so Great!! ❤
Thank you for sharing this beautiful video of your family. ❤🎄❤️
2 secs in and im so jealous. You’re so lucky your kids are little still 🤗. I miss my littles.
I LOVE this style of Vlog, and your tree is gorgeous, thanks for sharing!! ♥
Who is singing during while you’re hanging ornaments ❤
Gotta admit…I teared up. My kids are grownups now. Its a snap of the fingers and they are grown with kids of their own. I miss my kiddos being little but grandkids make up for it! Merry Christmas!
🥰wonderfull! Somehow also gave up the decorating to my kids this year. Only 1 cheap ornament lost. It feels good…
Thank you for sharing your family with us. Merry Christmas. ❤
Jess your Christmas Tree 🎄 is so beautiful

Love love love it! Best Roots and Refuge video ever! We thought you were just like all of us…now we know it’s true! Merry Christmas Sowards Family! ❤
LOVE HOPE FAITH
For the Tim tam slam, there is a proper method.
Not a little bite on each end, bite the chocolate off the ends and use it like a straw.
All Aussies and Kiwis do it.
thank you for sharing !
Oh Jess, I loved this video. I love seeing your kids…. And Miah, “I make people!” 😂
Thanks for sharing with us. That was so sweet.
It’s so hard this time of the year.
What a genuinely warm video
Jess, watching your family decorate the tree together brought tears to my eyes and warmed my heart! The love that circulates in your home is palpable and I just want to thank you for sharing these special moments with us. Your family is so beautiful!
Jeremiah go to me the most. Keep that childlike wonder…don't ever let it go.
Never wait for “one day”, because it is a thief. Take it from a mama who lost her only child to bone cancer in 2006. Take the pictures and display them. As a matter of fact take many many pictures. Pictures of things significant, un significant and random. They will mean a lot to a mamas tender heart one day. Hug your children and make sure they know just how much you love them. Go on the vacations. Take the time for special one on one times with each child. Live in the moment with them. I mean, really live in the moment with them. See that smile on their face or the twinkle in their eyes over excitement. Listen to the laughter of joy and happiness. Tomorrow is not guaranteed. As a mom who has spent 18 years now without my son at the holidays, birthdays, or any day, I can honestly tell you that one day will be here and gone before you know it. Even if you live to be 100. Your family is precious and the three little boys are so sweet and adorable. You are one Blessed mama ❤️🙏🏼 (Sorry for the long post. This mama’s heart is a little 💔 today). Much love
I do the same as you. I put up the base decorations first by myself (to make sure they are to my liking, lol) then I let the kids put all of the sentimental ornaments on as they see fit. This is my second year of letting go of full control of the Christmas tree and I'm so glad that we do it this way now because they get so excited to put up each one.
Once again, Jess and I share a trait in common – an overwhelming urge to rearrange ornaments, especially when the kids place them really strangely. I have to say, I mostly was never able to be ok with an ornament(s) that seemed widely out of place and would "fix" them when the kids were in bed. I don't know if they ever noticed, but the Christmas tree brings out the true OCD in my soul. Maybe it stems from when I was young (1950's/60's) and my dad was the same way, especially about tinsel – it had to be the smooth, shiny kind (not the crinkly stuff) and it had to be applied one strand at a time. My brother was quickly admonished and then dismissed from tinsel duty, but I found it very soothing and satisfying and it made my dad happy, so that was an added bonus. I also have been delaying putting up a gallery wall in our staircase for many years (too many decisions about what pictures, what size, frames, etc.), but you have inspired me to at least get a few of them up. I am definitely a victim of analysis paralysis in many aspects of my life. But this is a time to relax and take joy in the imperfections that people and life offer to me because that is real life for all of us and it is beautiful.
Christmas traditions are so special. In this season of my life my great grandchildren put the ornaments on my tree on Black Friday. It’s on that day I take care of them since their parents are working. However, when they go home I rearrange a few of the ornaments. 😊 Merry Christmas ❤️🎄🦌🎄

Love, love, love the family wall…🥰🥰🥰
Can you share about all your hanging plants and how you have hung them. I love what I saw in the video but couldn't quite figure it out.
This was fun being included!! I love how the kids come over to show you the ornaments, and we could enjoy them, too! Great memories are always made around Christmas tree decorating. Have a wonderful Christmas with your family!!
Thanks for sharing. Love it!
Who is singing Auld Lang Syne? Beautiful tree, beautiful family.
