Last weekend, we cleared out our tomato patch. We had a great last harvest! After harvesting all remaining tomatoes, we pulled out the old vines. Unfortunately, we saw some early signs of blight and decided not to put the vines in the composting bin. After that, we pulled our ollas out of the ground. This way they will not crack when the frost arrives this winter.

When the soil was cleared we raked the mulch to the side, turned the soil, and planted a cover crop. This way we’ll ensure next year’s harvest will be great again!
