  1. Lovely to hear that you will be planting natives in the ditch! Just this year my husband and I started restoring habitat in the small yard of our suburban home. Every little bit helps when it comes to contributing to Homegrown National Park and rescuing the web of life in North America before it is all gone. Bless you!

  2. Thanks for the update! How far is the farm from your current home and do you have plans to build a home there as you add acreage?

  3. Is that car and your hitch rated for that load? Water is very heavy. The chassis may not be able to support that weight. If you have any hills to traverse, your brakes may also fail under that weight.

  4. Happy to hear about you letting the ditches go native but not thrilled with you introducing honey bees. The whole idea of planting natives is to provide for native bees.

  5. Do you have a conservation easement? When you say it will NEVER be a golf course/apt complex – that could be a really good way to ensure that it stays a farm even after we're all dead and gone..and they pay you!
