   Love Mark and Chezney! Good job on the tree. It’s such a shame so many people just want clear plots and cut down anything in their path. The hug house looks brilliant and I had a good chuckle at the name. Thanks for sharing, guys! ❤

   Bug house looks great! I need to fix my one in the summer as it’s starting to look like the leaning tower of Pisa. Restrictions on our site are for trees to be kept to 6ft or below. Although along the boundary of our site which is where our plot is, we have a row of mature non-fruiting trees. It does shade part of our plot but they are good for the wildlife and in the autumn we get lots of lovely leaves for the compost pile. I’m learning to grow shade tolerant veg in these shadier areas, I have the wildlife section there and also my shed. Incidentally, I also have arum lilies growing in my wildlife section, not in water though but they seem to do well as long as they’re watered regularly and our clay soil holds lots of moisture. They are beetle pollinated rather than by bees.

   ❤ the tree too many years ago I campaigned to save an ancient yew outside my business. I had thousands of signatures and the ancient Yew Tree support only the council decided that it was diseased yet couldn’t provide evidence and they removed it on a day that I wasn’t working I was so upset and low and behold office units got built and the same company that fell the treated all the groundwork so clearly a few backhanders happened that time the office units stayed empty for nearly 12 years 😡😡 the tree was beautiful and apparently was one of many that were the approach to the nearby church in mediaeval times witches were buried under yew trees apparently I kept hoping they’d find bones which would’ve stopped the felling of the tree but sadly that didn’t happen still I sequently hope that the witches put a curse on whoever cut it down lol

   There is a massive oak tree shading part of my plot, it's gorgeous and gave me two daleks full of leaves 🙂

   Fabulous and funny! You need your own TV show 😀 So unique! We had some old apple trees but sadly they had to be chopped due to rot. There are not any non fruit trees at our site anymore. Adore the goblin and bug hotel…especially the name 🐞😀
