Before you go out and buy new plants, check for seedlings around the ones you have. Or check around your favorite plants at a friend’s house.
You might just find what you’re looking for without spending money on a new perennial.

You know….and here in the U.S. well, I would imagine similarly around the world, they are way more expensive than other perennials. Huh?????😮😅
Please comment if you think it is a good idea to dig up hellebores and plant them less deep, as I may have planted mine…
Thank you for this GREAT tip – they are cost prohibitive at the moment!!!
Great idea, indeed!!! Especially since hellebores are not the cheapest of perennials…at least here in Germany.
Thank you for sharing this information with us. I cant afford to buy more than one. So now i now they will multiple, and you can plant them in little groups all around and one day you'll have a big drift.
Wow thanks I inly have one. Can't wait to get the baby's one and repot them up.
Great tip! How long should they be potted for?
Great tip! But how many years before they flower 🤔?
Not all varieties self- seed. When the plant gets big you can dig it and divide it.
Thank you for enlightening me. 😊
