  1. They hide on uber still at least on east coast. These apps are out of pocket these days. I bet they try to make it a w2. They run these businesses at a loss on purpose so they dont got to pay tax on the other companies they own.

  2. Thanks for the info insight.

I mainly deliver for Walmart Spark. I keep Uber Eats on in the background. I also work for Doordash and Instacart, but both companies are completely useless.

I dated a French Canadian for 3 years. I always appreciated her honesty, but she had no tact and other people would get easily offended.

I hope you find a new place to live you like. ✌️

  3. Doordash driver for 4 years, they aren't dying. People are simply tipping less now because they aren't getting their free covid money and the economy is in the crapper thanks to Biden.

  4. Hope that the higher cost of using Instacart translates into higher payout to Instacart drivers. I remember reading an article stating that Instacart drivers do make slightly more money than Doordash & UberEats. Hopefully this is true in reality, I think customers don't mind paying the higher cost if drivers get paid more. What I found the most frustrating was that I paid twice as much now for Uber rides (the same airport trips comparison), but drivers barely got 50% of the fare. It felt like a lose-lose for customers + drivers, Uber was the only one gaining from this price increase. (The price increase was 100%, so ridiculous)

  5. I'm new. I was recommended your video. You did a very good job putting it together and breaking it all down. A lot of people (customers) who use these apps don't realize they up charge the price of the items. My son was one of those people. Once I told him how much they up charge, especially on instacart, he stopped using it.
Here's a tip for those who want or need to shop on line. Order for pick up from the store's website…………it's free!! edit: and you don't get up charged!
I like your voice changes. lol cute.

  6. They aren’t dying, I DoorDash as a side gig and make between $20 a $30 an hour delivering to mostly low income areas of town. As long as there are lazy people these will thrive. Also, you have to know your area and times to do it. Sitting online for 12 hours a day will result in poor results when you can go out for 3 hours during peak times and make the same amount. Also anyone doing this as their primary job is stupid. It’s meant to be a side gig and is the perfect side gig for someone that works a normal 9-5.

  7. Hey guys … Don't listen to content creators and side giggers. Take notes from Brooke people who started on doordash. People who live in their cars … Trust those who depend on counting every penny, not people who have 7 streams of income. Not to say she's aloof… Just let her make content but take it with a huge glass of water after this salt lick

  8. Purchasing through delivery apps is a convenient luxury. Are these apps fee gouging customers and stealing base pay from drivers? Absolutely but people who use this app know that goin into it. And if they dont already in the yeat of 20fuckin24 i dont know what to tell them 😂. Eithwer go pick up food and do your grocery shopping yourself or don't cry about tips or your order bouncing around

  9. I will consolidate this 53 min video into reality. Most people CAN'T afford this service. Even with a 50% off coupon it's still costs more than picking it up yourself. The US Economy is WAY DOWN .

  10. Interesting video to watch about better pay for the driver. Title- This New Gig App Pays $35 PER ORDER! (NO Acceptance Rating) by Your Driver Mike

  11. You did a great job breaking it all down. It's quite sad how little goes to us drivers/shoppers and the comparison of weekly earning from this year to last is so drastic

  12. I'm sorry but Duh?! Of course they charge you more than in store. You're paying for the convenience of someone going to the store for you to find the items and bring them to your house on demand. Why WOULDN'T they charge more? The more items you order, the longer it takes people to get them for you. (Yes I know that money isn't always going to the drivers but by the way the company looks at this it's beside the point, while the drivers are picking up groceries, they're not out driving and earning the delivery fees for them.) Of course the company is going to try to charge you more per item for this "service". I thought everyone would have already known that.

  13. I've had two deliveries now report all their items missing from the order when i did drop them off correctly. I find it soooooooo upsetting. DD has not given me a contract violation, but i have taken to taking photos to houses where it is a leave at my door and they take the order from me. Its just so wrong!!!
