It is really cool hearing the old flat heads fire up.
How do you keep mice and rats out of your cars and garages?
Mikes car makes me smile ..as it came out of the barn in 8 pieces
I am so jealous. Not really well earned and my top youtube to watch. Great projects, Great fellows
Schroll car is so badass its just ridiculous
The sedan delivery is looking really sweet!
Another busy and productive week!! Bet you are catching some crap on the Mercury chop! Not from me though!😁
A little self- promotion idea: Start a museum upstairs. Install a bunch of security cameras. Maybe charge a minimal admission fee. Have a guest book everyone can sign. The parts garage is for your future museum. You can thank me later. Have a nice day 😁.
I know it`s been said before but…. Finish your current projects before you start a new one. Having too many projects ongoing means you finish none of them. Especially one that was already a nicely finished & done driver needing nothing. If it ain't broke don`t fix it,fix the ones that ARE broke.
Well overdue a haircut 😊
I am very excited to see the Merc’s haircut!
Even if it is unheated, you're upstairs garage is a really nice space 😁
The record snow storm in Philly on Feb 17, 2003 caused me to seriously consider moving to a warmer climate. The next year my employer was looking for a representative at the Corpus Christi Army Depot helping on the Chinook Helicopter line. I've lived in South Texas since and do not miss the snow. There is a cure for snow, Move South. It worked for me! Freezing temps are a rarity.
😃😃😃
I am always seeing a glimpse of that old old engine hoist that you guys picked up . I know it's not a high priority but I'd like to see it in action or painted restored
Thank you for letting me live vicariously thru you guys and your videos. I have the desire to own a hot rod, just not the funds. You guys are the next best thing 👏
What a treat to see all the upstairs cars and especially hear them. I Really love the flathead sounds.
Luv watching those cars drive!
I just do not like the Mercury roofline. Ford was much nicer. It will be interesting to see what you have come up with.
When I was a little boy, uncle Jim, who died two weeks ago at age ninety, had a 1930s sedan that he was working on for when he got his driver's license. He was under twenty at the time. One April day he filled the radiator with water and started it up. He neglected to drain the water when he finished, thinking Western NY would not get cold again. I never saw the car again. The weather dropped below freezing and the engine block cracked!
Always winterize!
Loved the 'crime scene' tape, in anticipation of the purists going insane at the Mercury roof chop.
One day all of that cool stuff will never be found again,,, thanks for saving it😴✌️
Mike, small correction.. Heat the CASTING, cool the RACE ( I use the freezer) then assemble! Honest enough mistake! Pretty cool, yet confusing smattering of ancient archeology type tooling. Great "wall hangers" if nothing else!
Looking very Kool now.
It's good too see the merc getting its "problem" dealt with! Looking forward to it.
Can’t wait to see more on the Merc!!
IRON TR _P
Such an interesting episode!
And the Lord said, "Let there be light" and Mike said, "Just flick that switch, baby!"
Much better when you can see what you're doing, eh.
We all need a Steve!! He is always one step ahead!!
I've been watching your show for a long time it's the best show on YouTube you guys have a lot of good content you ought to bring in a couple of hot chicks every now and then they go good with hot rods😊
Lots of cool things you guys do. I’m from a small town called Aliquippa, which is on the other side of the state but what you guys do at old steel I respect totally that being said I hope you keep that mercury in the stable. The Arden 33 zowza
Good morning Matt. Where is your dad's car?
You all should really consider making a calendar. You have 8 cars upstairs in this video, one in warehouse, a couple downstairs. So for the end of each year, you can have a calendar with the 12 cars as current conditions. They are all perfectly shitty, and that is the best kind of calendar.
Important not to lose an engine to coolant freezing.
a quality dehumidifier in your unheated garage would keep things dryer until you have a heating system.
Just curious to know whether you sold the roadster pickup? I haven't seen it for a while.
Hi Just watched a video Vintage Machinery, #151 watch to past 18 minutes. They recieved a bunch of reprint posters for metal and wood working machinery(vintage). Anyway one poster is a mobile machine shop, they have a lathe in a Sedan Delivery, super cool.
What a great collection!! I would put an LS motor in everyone of them. HAHAHAHA Im jokin. I like the week in the life vids. Getting to hear each car run was great.
Hey guys… Whatever happened to the model a shop truck? That was one of my favorite in the fleet!
Uh Oh
Winter already. 😢.
It's amazing and very cool, that you guys have built a successful business that provides for your families from nothing. I'm sure there has been challenges along the way, but it goes to show how passionate you all are, not only about the business of traditional hot rods but also the friendships you have developed along the way. Another awesome episode in the life of Iron Trap Garage.
