Sounds like they overextended financially, or realize they can make a handsome profit flipping it in 2 years. KGW couldn't be bothered to find out what the non-profit paid the other non-profit.

Why would you stay in Portland?
I wish they would put something useful people might actually want to see, like an onsen/hot bath sauna hotel thing instead of a garden.
