  1. I loved this, Carla! I think this would be a great place for my husband and I to stay sometime. I looked and the rates are very reasonable, especially including breakfast. It would be a great location to take a ride over to Woodstock and Grafton from. We took our trip to Wilmington this past week. On the way back, we got off on route 5 to go to Kringle Candle and found a tiny little antique store run by a retired couple. I found and bought a sugar and creamer set that was 50% of for only $12.50. I looked it up when I got home, and they are Myott Staffordshire Royal Mail Brown pattern. I saw them both on Etsy and the creamer was selling for $35 and the covered sugar bowl for $49.99! They are in great condition and went into my hutch. Don't you just love a bargain on your little treasures. 🧡

  2. What a charming Inn! If I ever get to Vermont I will look for the Buck master Inn. Thanks to you both for sharing this lovely Inn with us!

  3. Stunning scenery! The Inn is beautiful! Love the entrance door with all the distressed paint colors and all the white furniture. Always wanted to visit Vermont. Hopefully one day. Thanks for sharing some New England Autumn Vibes.
    🍁🧡☕️🎃🍎

  5. I'd love to see it decorated for Christmas. All those trees must be charming. Thanks for the tour, Carla.

  6. Hello Carla, Lovely Autumn scenery driving to The Buckmaster Inn Bed & Breakfast. Your friend Liz appears to be such a warm friendly lady and I appreciate her assisting you with the tour. I think I counted 5 Christmas 🎄 trees that Liz was talking about and upstairs smaller trees in each guest bedroom 🌲 her home must look magical at the Holidays. I love how Liz has names for each bedroom, certainly history is there which is a very rewarding and homeworthy touch. Carla, Thank you for taking us along on this magnificent tour. 🍁🐿🍂🧡🎃

  7. Carla, what a beautiful video. The fall colors are stunning and I really enjoyed touring the inn. Very creative decorating ideas, antiques, warm and welcoming. Thanks for sharing

  8. Hi Carla,! a very lovely Inn.. I would rather stay at a B&B then a hotel. A very beautiful area too! Blessings Paula

  11. Beautiful, Autumn in Vermont, a lovely inn, and a good friend. What a wonderful trip. Thank you for sharing, Carla. Have a terrific week. See you next time!🍁

  12. One of the most enchanting stories that I've ever come across on youtube. It is more than an autumn interior decoration vblog as there are so many on youtube. This is a portrait of a beautiful friendship. And of course, the scenery of Vermont at this time of the year just took your breath away. A slow tour of this beautiful inn with your soothing voice as the narrator, sharing your personal memories of the place, makes it more memorable. Thanks for not adding loud music and going fast pace so that we can really savour this special tour. The owner of the Buckmaster Inn has got an exquisite taste and artistic eye – all the handmade touches to the light and airy rooms, displaying all the treasures from the past in a new light, dried floral arrangements culled from nature, nautical touches, the many moods each room convey; from cosy to quaint, from idiosyncratic to timeless, it has been truly inspirational! Thank you so much. Happy autumn and warm greetings from Scotland, UK.

  13. Beautiful video Carla, The Inn is wonderful, how lucky you are to be able to stay in such a lovely place. Happy fall 🍁🍁🍁

  14. Thank you Carla, I love this style in the home and just would love some time to visit. My husband and I live in upstate NY and have adult family living in Tyconderoga and Plattsburgh area, They truly found ther place to live, work, and attend college, and now we have two great- grand -daughters, and all are happy living further North than us. We love Vermont too and truly are used to the weather and changes of seasons, of course!

Your home is beautiful, and love 'every single room.' Could only imagine how lovely Christmas time would be there! I guess anytime would have such fantastic views and decorations to see within the home as well. Just could see us sitting on one of the porches!
It has been carefully decorated and yet very comfortable ,as well. You are so lucky Carla to get to stay upstairs ,in the special area of the home , each time you visit!
This truly is a very special home and has such a wonderful history!

  15. Pachelbel_PaperDarts comment below perfectly expressed everything I was thinking and was going to say myself about this beautiful video and that gorgeous home! As I was watching the tour I was thinking to myself that I'll bet that old home has a lot of hidden secrets, and then Liz said exactly the same thing! Loved all the decor and beautiful antiques so lovingly displayed, and the authenticity Liz has kept in the Inn like part of the old wall paper on a duct, and historic hardware and doors. I felt a calm come over me as I watched, and I could spend a whole day just looking at all the details. Thank you for another wonderful video. ~M~

  16. This is beautiful place to go in stay for weekend , I love Vermont and B&B the Buckmaster Inn is the place to stay . Thank you very much to sharing the beautiful Buckmaster Inn I love❤❤❤❤

  17. Lovely video!! I had so much fun watching. The susan branch card is divine. I love her❤

  18. I just started watching youtube decor shows this late winter after tiring of HGTV. This morning as I tuned in, I saw this video and immediately recognized the name Buckmaster Inn. I came to know about Liz and the inn almost 30 years ago when we met at a local VT eatery and she told us about the inn. The name always intrigued me and I often see her out and about in Rutland always giving a nod or smile feeling she would never remember me from that time so long ago. I live in Mount Holly the next town over and have always loved Shrewsbury. Hopefully you had the chance to visit Pierce's Store-so charming. The Buckmaster Inn is enchanting. My tiny cottage also gives a nod to the seaside as I spent every summer on the CT shore. Love this and subscribed….

  19. First time finding you here, and what a wonderful video this was. So enjoyable, the background music, the content and your storytelling voice was so engaging, Truly enjoyed this Inn and funny enough, I live here in Vermont, and this is first time hearing and seeing The Buckmaster Inn.

  20. Have stayed in quite a few inns white leaf peeking in Vermont. Always fun and inviting because they’re all so different and welcoming. Enjoyed your video, first time watching.

With all the craziness and instability in the world today, it was wonderful to experience the beauty of Fall and life in a small New England town. Your video really captured the charm and coziness of The Buckmaster Inn, and I really enjoyed learning about its history. Thank you for taking us on a beautiful journey, and for sharing such a special place with us. You're a great tour guide!
    🙂🤜🤛

  22. HELLO FROM TEXAS – Wonderful video, well done. I miss the East Coast which is filled with great history through the years. Thank you for your time and hard work ladies. Have a happy holiday season ahead. Great place to stay for a while, which I could.

  23. I love the decor of this Vermont B&B and the history. I live in Vermont and loved how she described the next nearest city (all Vermont cities are small) and how her house was up the mountain. This looks like a classic Vermont place to stay. Good vibes 😊
