Hot compost revival part 2

About me:
Tommy, I came to Australia from the northern hemisphere a few years ago and started growing vegetables in my backyard. Although I have little experience in farming, I’m always struggling with this because the seasons and climate are totally different. In this channel, I’m going to learn many things by trial and error and I will become a master gardener, hopefully. Thanks.

I am curious why you would plant in plastic bc everything in me is saying this is not a good idea. Do you have holes punched in the bottom to let the water out? I think it is always a good idea to let the worms from the ground come up into the plant area bc they eat and poop and make worm holes etc. Is it possible to cut off the bottom of the bag so the worms can come up and extra water can leave?
