These look great! I'm hoping my own do so well 😉.
Is that a 5 gal pot?
Man squash is FASCINATING to watch grow. I just recently came out to see some females developing on mine aswell, always exciting for me.😊
I have an indoor hydroponic vertical Gardyn. My zucchini finally has two females that have small fruits but the flowers are not opened yet, and about 6 males a few have opened and died. Should I wait until another male opens fully before I cut it and preserve it or should I cut it before it opens all the way? I wish I could share pics.
Squash, peppers and tomato. The holy trinity for fun easy gardens.
God bless your garden 🌱
Gardening is a mental illness. I've been totally nuts for 60+ years! LOL!
I’m trying to grow my zucchini vertically this year. I went to a nursery and bought plants instead of seeds because I had no patience for seeds. So far I’ve got about 8 to 10 little baby zucchini and that’s actually more than I had all of last year because it just didn’t work last year.I have to go into the store and get the big long sticks to attach them.
Have you ever cross-pollinated before? What was the result?
I don't get it. I keep losing them. Even after hand pollination. Made a video. Asked you by name cause you the squash guru
😢mine keep going mushy, so not getting pollinated I guess boo I'm so sad
My first female flower I seen hasn’t even bloomed and it’s turning brown 😢 oh well. Hopefully my other squash push out female flowers soon
You can self pollinate by using a small paint brush and slightly brush the male flower to the female flower to help growth.
