  1. We are only in our second year of growing these. I cured my but, they turned very dark. They taste just fine but how do I keep them from doing that?

  2. Just thinking of digging some up today! I'm glad to hear they can be good in the ground down to -8C. We SOMETIMES get a wee bit lower for a few nights in the winter.

    I think mine are mostly from you, but I did plant some organic ones I had not eaten all of. There's some purple ones that are busting out of the ground… Seems they're Red Fesau!

    Nice tip on the stems needing to be totally brown. I was going to ask if it was light or heat that was important in curing! Thanks for explaining that it's the light. Also for recommending only pulling up a week's supply at a time.
