Welcome Gardeners! It’s that time again! Time to plant some blooming plants in your garden for the month. Every month this past year I have been planting a collection or one particular plant that I know will bloom next year around the same time, ensuring that I will have 12 full months of blooms in my California garden! 🌸 Enjoy!

Yes and yes for the Mexican Sage I just love them because when every other plants are sleeping they come to glory and the hummingbirds love it and the only thing you need to do is water and prune after the blooming time.
🍂Hi Janey
Pretty, 😍 thanks 🍁
😊 👋 🦃 🍂
Your garden is looking so good!
Monty cracks me up all stretched out watching you work! Good Pup!
The white salvia is so pretty! It looks frosted 😃 What is the ground cover plant with the blue flowers on it beside the Santa Barbara salvia? Is it scaevola?
Monte is helping with his lil nappy. 😂
I love this monthly blooming plan you created. It's very inspiring. I might start in January and assess what (if anything) is blooming and go from there. I do have a lot of hellebores and they normally start early, so we'll see. I'm zone 6b.
Hi Janie – I just love everything you plant in your garden, it's so beautiful.
My azalea is blooming right now. I just planted it this Spring and didn’t realize it is a rebloomer. Zone 6b
Your garden is really coming together quickly! Everything looks so beautiful! Gotta say I love the jacket and boots you are wearing also! Too cute!!! Monty is adorable the way he watches you the whole time! ❤❤❤
You look sooo pretty, Janey! I love your channel so much!! Your color selections always are so beautiful, and I especially love that you explain the decision making process for your plant choices.
Happy Thanksgiving to your sweet family, and a million thanks for sharing your gardening life with us!
How does the white salvia leucantha look when the blooms fade? Is it really noticeable and brown? I have a giant purple one in front and thinking about planting a white one.
Love love love your coat! Please share where you got it, I need one here in PA.😊
Mulhy Pink grass blooms in November. They are so beautiful, pink delicate wispy grass.
Where is this jacket from?!? Obsessed
Everything looks absolutely gorgeous as usual Janie. ♥️
We’re so excited about the purple lilac vine.
Ps: we are so very grateful that you share your life online with us all. Watching you (and Robbie) brings us so much joy.
Sending you lots of love from the Gold Coast in Queensland Australia.

Love Meg & the pups
The berries on cotoneaster are gorgeous at this time of year. They are a ground cover but I always train them to follow up a fence or structure, after they follow it up about two feet they gracefully start to bend outward again into a really beautiful form, it gets woody stems so it will hold it's form. I actuallly have mine growing in a pot that was against the fence but no longer is. I also love the look of the white berries of snowberries which start blooming in September and are still blooming. I live on Vancouver island.
I love your videos…I have learned so much from you. Thank you…
Hi Janey how much water do plants need right now
near memphis tn, 2 hydrangeas, 2 rose of Sharon, 1 camellia and 45 daff bulbs.
Janey, I don’t know if you’ll see this. But I remember an orange flowering plant you planted to replace orange trumpet vine. Could you refresh our memory?
