  1. I saw that Proven Winners no longer produces Little Dipper cotoneaster. Would you have any idea why? It looks like a pretty plant with good winter interest. I also liked that it is deer resistant.

  2. 15 years ago at our previous home, we planted a Dawn Redwood tree and it was the most glorious tree I've ever had. The leaves were so soft and a lovely lime green. It grew to an amazing height and shape. Not sure it grows well in all areas but we were living near Niagara Falls, Ontario at the time. i have a picture of it but not sure I can upload it to these comments.

  3. I have always loved all yews and Stonehenge Dark Druid yews. But, I have never planted them on my property because they are lethal to children, cats, dogs, horses, donkeys and humans. Even a small bite is lethal. I have read if you plant them one should wear gloves. But, I still like their look.💙🦋💙🦋

  4. I know that’s right! I also planted some more soon as I saw the temperature were going to be 56degrees f, I was stoked! I am in 7b

  5. It is great to be able to plant this late in season. I will look forward to seeing the results in the spring. Fall planting is the best!

  6. 🌊 Well done 'deep' watering…..Aaron. @18:12 > I do believe that you have much more 'patience' when watering ….than someone else you know. Haha.

  7. It is so nice to watch a channel that has more to the garden than just Hydrangea!!! I am so tired of watching everyone plant them in the masses. I hope that your viewers appreciate all the variety that you have to offer. I have grown to not like them because everyone uses them as "The go to." I garden in a large area. Not as large as yours, though I have the land. Just not the man power. You creation is fabulous! I just love watching it come to life 🙂

  8. The yews look great. It looks purposeful and whimsical. The mystery that draws you down the path. Love them!

  9. You should try getting a cup plant(silphium perfoliatum) if you think the Mexican sunflower has a big stalk. They get 8 ft tall and where the leaves attach to the stem it forms a little cup for rain water to collect. Great for filling in a large space-I have one that covers the cable box in my yard. 😊

  10. So ironic, was expecting to see snow😮! But so glad to see planting, especially the Dawn redwood. Which reiterates Laura's garden mantra of plant while you can! It definitely will make Spring so exciting to see your labor of love come to fruition. That rock area by the pond/stream is going to be so gorgeous.
    You need a shirt saying
"Keep on planting " in your store ❤

  11. Hi!
That yew hedge will be pretty.
I know you love your Hoselinks, but did you know that the Vego hose reels go up to 130 ft.
Maybe one or two could be good for a couple of your far away spots.
And they look so similar, they'll blend right in.

  12. Hi Laura 🌺.Very cool video of planting these shrubs and trees are going to be amazing in your garden . Have a wonderful week .🌻🎄🌻

  13. What does that blue paint dot on the trunk of the crabapple tree you planted at the end represent? I’ve seen that on several nursery trees.

  14. Don’t worry about the Dawn Redwood, Laura. They are deciduous conifers and will push new needles in the spring. 😊

  15. We have a dawn redwood that we bought in a five gallon container about 30 years ago. It is starting to buttress now and I love its cones—little mice with stem tails when first picked up off the ground. It is a lovely specimen in the yard. I hope it thrives in your area. We live about 35 miles northeast of Seattle, zone 8b. You’ll ❤️ it if it does. I think you’ve put yours in a great location.

  16. I’m so glad you got to plant more plants, I feel bad for all of those that have to stay in pots another season.👍💕

  17. So exciting to be planting in November! Do you foresee a time when your gardens will be complete and you'll only need to do maintenance?
