What’s THRIVING in My November Edible Garden Tour 2024

  1. Love your garden, wish stuff in England grew that big, that said my herbs are lunatics, I have found mint from pots growing in cracks in pavements and flower beds. I blame the birds. 😁
Birds also planted a white ash and two elder trees over 20 years ago into the back garden. They were never planted by my late father, who planted the fruit trees and an American Lilac. We had an English Lilac from the previous owners.
A European Robin once threatened me because I was harvesting elderberries. It sat in front of me with its mouth open, showing me an elderberry. They are so cheeky. 😁
It was for an elderberry vinegar, basically wine wine vinegar with elderberries in it…amazing on beef as a marinade.
Maybe you should use a compost that is designed to retain more water, given your local climate?
