✋️ Laura i didn't plant garlic, shallots, potato onions, tulips, daffodils ect yet. Guilty too, going to get nice this weekend so I'm right there with you. Then next week snow so just making it. 😅
Laura, I enjoyed this video. Very relaxing. I remembered the first time Douglas showed up was on the sun porch. He diffenentlu pick you! Russell always checking on you and where is Cheddar these days? Always elusive the last few months. Love the porch! Once you get that front garden planted the sun porch will become a restful place for morning coffee. Amazing how you All have done and planted this Fall 2024!

You might not know the answer to this question, but I'll try anyways. Does the garlic need to be planted in a full sun location? I grow in Zone 3b, Alberta Canada, and I have a raised garden that is in full sun during the height of the summer, but during the shoulder season and winter, one raised bed is shaded from my house all day due to how low the sun is in the sky. It doesn't receive direct sunlight until early April-ish. Would the garlic be okay to grow in the ground/shade until April and then it will receive more and more sunlight until harvest? Thanks <3

Have you ever considered changing the windows in the sun porch. Double pane windows would make a huge difference in the warmth in the winter, coolness in the summer and the dust any time.
