I know the setup is funny looking. It's under a good light and has some plastic wrap so it doesnt dry up too quickly. I've taken this moss from my terrarium where i initially revived dried moss. Do you think it would survive for like 2 weeks ish with this setup?

I would keep the top open to give it airflow. That will help prevent mold and rot. I have live sphagnum in a couple of my setups which both have open tops and some minimal airflow. Here’s my daughter’s terrarium with live sphagnum on the right. I spray the moss on the wood twice a day with distilled water and the sphagnum just gets side spray and trickle down from the wood and does just fine: https://www.reddit.com/r/terrariums/s/4t86wQcaTy

ETA: the soil below it stays damp from runoff and the drainage layer wicking water up. At any rate, keep it damp but open the top. You can tell when it’s starting to dry out and will bounce back if you let it get a little dry.

Sphagnum can survive pretty much 100% humidity. It will start to grow a little leggy if you leave it for too long, but it will grow back thicker once it’s out of high humidity. Over on r/sphagnum, they even recommend flooding it with distilled water and letting it evaporate. Moist/wet will be better than dry
