I’d say it’s uncommon where I am. Not something you’d normally see in people’s yards (like the golden pothos, they’re everywhere) but not something you’d find hard to get. Still, to me it’s a nice-looking philodendron.
I think if you want to “add more value” to your plant, take care of it and give it something to climb on. It will produce bigger leaves and make the plant look lush.
