Farrow & Ball’s paint & paper made it nothing short of magical.

The morning light dances through the trees into my east facing dining room, now turned boulangerie. I am still pinching myself that I get to bake in such a beautiful space.

I was very tempted to go neutral, but when I found Farrow & Ball’s delicate, bespoke wallpaper, I couldn’t resist trying something a bit more bold.

If you’re a history geek like me, you’ll love this! The floral pattern I chose was found in a private dressing room in a château in France. Auguste was expected to inherit the château but lost his life during the Revolution – he was a classmate of Napoléon Bonaparte’s!

This wallpaper pattern was also found in boulangeries near the chateau.

It was simply meant to be.
