  1. What a pleasure! One maple I don't recall seeing is the coral bark maple–Sango Kaku is one variety. Do they grow in the UK? I love seeing them in the winter landscape, but have not seen them used much for bonsai.

  2. Hi Peter, loving your life’s work. The photographic term for the lighting conditions your filing is known as β€œThe Golden Hour” much respect, yours in bonsai Daniel πŸ™πŸ»

  3. Always an absolute pleasure to spend time with you wandering around the nursery. Lovely light to film the trees. Thanks for sharing this with us. 😍

I have an Ornatum Japanese maple growing next to my koi pond which has an outrageous lava-orange colour at the moment.

  4. You've certainly been blessed by Christ my friend! A wonderful vocation and environment for you, your family, and hopefully many generations to come.

  5. Love the stroll through your garden. Autumn colours are so enormously varied and beautiful, they give me a wonderful glow inside. Thank you for sharing Peter.

  6. Thank you, Peter. Just love the garden walk about. Lovely colors and beautiful evening sun.
Always enjoy your videos and look forward to your next ones.

  7. Beautiful trees. If I take care of mine , they should be looking like these in about 20 years. Really looking forward for it.

  8. Virginia Creeper here, west coast of the US, is very aggressive & many controls are used to suppress it. Now that I know that Bonsai will be the answer I will find some.

  9. Dear Master Chan, greetings, hope you are well, may i ask you to please make a video about a very first timer tree, i mean a tree which has not been pruned nor wired before for Bonsai, where does one begin? Roots? cutting the branches? and what time of yeaer is best for starting a Bonsai tree, i suppose it must be before Spring time, but would like to be sure. I am planning to make my Buddhist Pine and a Maple tree which are very young into Bonsai, but they have already reached a height of two feet or so, and i fear by cuttying the main trunk i might lose the whole tree which is so very beautiful to watch. Bless your heart, Master, wish you all the best of joy and health. Many thanks in advance and very grateful for your wonderful tutorials and videos, i have watched many of your clips, but i couldn't find one for total beginner like myself nor for a total beginner tree either. I understand the procedure for trees which have been shaped for Bonsai and how to take care of them, but not for starting a tree. Cheers πŸ™‚

  10. Dear Mr. Chan, everything is so beautiful but please, switch to 4K videos, they would be literally 4 times better!

  11. Plain s , where are the plains Peter ? πŸ˜… you are wonderfull on your Micro . Just like your garden . It s a pleasure for the mind ❀ . Keep on going ❀

  12. Hi Peter you called some areas magical, to my old eyes the whole walk is magical, most of my maples have finished their autumn colours and dropped their leaves, the best colour was my Amur maple a variety of colours on each leaf has also dropped it's leaves. You mentioned Virginia creepers showing colour, mine a semi cascade taken from my sister inlaws kitchen window cill looking in very poor health about 25 years ago as an upright stick is very much bigger and changed to a semi cascade, the colour was to use your words magical , they have now dropped. Thank you once again for your walks I always look out for them. Joe

  13. Thank you Peter. A great garden . If you can find the time to upload another view when autumn colours are at their best I would appreciate it.

  14. Thank you for a wonderful and serene Autumn walk! I hope to see another when the large trees change their colors!πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ™

  15. My dahlia are still in bloom…But strong winds have snapped them at the base.
