Hey everyone, welcome back to part two of this garden tidy up and driveway cleaning job. Today I tackle the last part of the front garden area that I failed to complete on my previous visit. I thought this was going to be a much easier day than last time, as it looked smaller, but boy was I wrong. Although this time I wasn’t being soaked with none stop rain, the amount of waste created, and having to wrestle with a small tree from the lack of having the correct equipment, turned this into a day of hard graft……but hey, who’s complaining, not me 😉.
Anyway, I managed to get the bushes tamed and under control, then clean and treat the driveway, then have a rinse down and tidy up just in time before it got dark. The front garden is much more manageable for this lady, and her driveway & path are no longer a dark, dingy slip hazard.
A huge thank you shout out to Garry, this ladies neighbour, for allowing me to use his water when there was a problem with hers.
And thank you to all of you for your kind words, support and advice on this free garden and driveway makeover.
Some have you have asked if you can “Buy me a coffee” which is super kind of you, i’ve since set up a page for that, i’ll drop a link in the top of the comments for anyone that would like to support me and my channel when carrying out these free cleans. Thanks guys, it’s very much appreciated ♥️

Hope you enjoy, thanks again, Nick. 🥰

  1. As always Nick, you have done an outstanding job!! The haters are going to hate, but the rest of us Love you and what you are doing!!! And according to @garryswain1208 Linda is absolutely chuffed and that's all that matters. Keep up the good work, keep the Faith and know that we all appreciate you, your hard work and dedication 💖💖👍👍

  2. I've been watching your videos for quite a long time and I can say that you're an amazing person and all you do is super cool (every time!). There's always someone ready to criticise us, and there's no borderline where they start – those people just need to say a word so everyone will think they're "mighty and clever". That means for sure they're not 😂

As for this work, you reminded me myself. Recently I moved to Germany and the garden here near my house was just creepy living green waste pile😅 we had to fight all of that for the whole summer and we did it, but I'm still not satisfied. That's absolutely normal feeling. And we power washed driveway with simple Kärcher, that was hard and gross. And yes, me too always must make that hard decision to chop something off😂😂😂 you've done all super nice! Thank you for amazing video ❤❤❤❤

  3. Hi Nick, I am a new subscriber to your videos from Ottawa Canada. You are doing super work and making sure everything is looking as beautiful as possible. Don't take any notice of negative comments, you have lots of friends here who have your back. You are making your community better one yard at a time. So my friend keep on making people happy with all your help. This world needs more people like you. God Bless, take care. 🙏💯💯💯

  4. I like the shape of the first bush. I love the shape of the second bush. It looks like a porcupine with moss on his back. Ignore negative comments. You are doing a wonderful job by helping that lady.

  5. Hi Nick ! Secateurs on the roses next time mate, they need a fresh clean cut so the frost doesnt get in. Cutting a mature rose should and will be Ok ! Maybe too late on the bushes too due to frost but far far better than before. An evergreen can be a pain in the _ if not trimmed once a year, but thats not your fault. The bush against the fence line is well over grown but can be cut further down in spring time after easter . ——– Stick at it mate your doing fine but check out Martin on his channel & the German guy too ! ————- THUMBS UP FROM ME.

  6. In my humble opinion some things are better left to grow as they like. So long as they don’t impede paths or other plants. The evergreen plants should only be trimmed very lightly, if at all. Once you cut past the green part it will not grow green again. When trimming very bushy plants try to trim from underneath so the brown cut stems are less obvious and there is more greenness apparent. Keep going, you are learning. Yes, that tree is dead.

  7. Get yourself an app that identifies plants/shrubs/trees. Then google how to prune '….'.I think you have done fine. The 'teardrop' one can only be pruned slightly (you did great!). You were correct in taking the dead (mostly dead) one out as it wounldn't have come back. You could have pruned the rest of that side quite hard to shape it, I believe it will come back in spring. I am definitely not an expert here … just my personal gardening experience.

  8. For the trees and shrubs, if you aren't sure, take photos and go to a local garden centre and ask them for advice. Kudos to you for doing all of this work.

  9. What a wonderful person you are. The world needs more lovely people like you trying to help those in need. Sending nothing but love and good vibes to a legend🎉😊💜

  10. If your interested in advancing your jobs in gardening I’d suggest you sharpen the tip (the edge) of your shovel and things will go a lil easier. You really struggled getting some things done; I’d say you did well. It’s unfortunate they waited so long to manage their garden. 😊

  11. Those who can just do it and those who can’t are trolls. Awesome job Nick, the world needs more people like you 🌟

  12. That is the beauty of what you do. You know your craft but are willing to learn new things. That speaks volumes. Stay positive and do what you came to do. Help someone in need. Thank you and God bless you.

  13. those bushes that show brown if you cut too far are a menace as they in effect make people let them grow too big. It isn't dead and will recover in time so don't worry, you could have cut back more, after all it's already at the brown so a bit more makes little difference. well done again for your kindness to this lady.

  14. Is it Perfect? No. Is is better? 100% Better! Awesome! Well done!! And you happily volunteered and helped your neighbor for free. Did the complainers help their neighbor for free? Most likely not. My mom said “If you didn’t make dinner, you can’t complain. If you do complain, you just volunteered to make dinner tomorrow.”

  15. You do an amazing job on everything you do. I enjoy watching the videos, please keep doing them. There's always going to be haters/trolls, people that are miserable and say stuff, who cares. They're jealous! Do what you do best! ❤ Thank you for what you do and helping people and making their day and properties look better and beautiful and safe!❤️

  16. Ignore the negative people. The lady is happy. You are helping her out of the kindness of your heart. She needed the help. There are people out there that just wants to be mean and nasty. They are the kind of people that will be unhappy no matter what you do. I think those people must be unhappy with their life. You are a nice man. Bless you.
