  1. I love the video, Barbara! I am so happy God put it in your heart to try to help us in all this chaos. I feel the same. I am not a "prepper" but I am a prepper. Only someone in the same mindset understands that statement. Hugs and prayers again from Texas. Thank you for the info.❤

  2. Loved the conversation. I need to do all of them. I just started learning how to can and I freeze a lot of things. I started filling all of my empty canning jars with water instead of storing them empty. Very good conversation

  3. New here, you came up on my feed. First of all, i absolutely love your hoodie/sweater! Second, you said preppers prep out of fear. That's not completely accurate. Im a prepper. I prep for unforseen events, like you said, as insurance. Because i am prepared, i have no fear. I'm doing what I can with what I have and trust that the good Lord will handle the rest. Great video!

  4. ***Hello Barbara, great topic. I've been trying to tell family and friends to do this for years. I remember how my parents made it.
I would like to know the link to the article. Plus, the other two lessons learned.
    Thanks in advance.

  5. Blessing and peace. You are being led by the Holy Spirit. I cover you and your family in the blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Continue on , you're doing a great job. Jesus Christ is Lord overall. Be bless.

  6. Forgive yourself and mo e forward. While you wait for your well, start collecting rain and learn how to purify it. You can find water bladders that fit in the tub. They can hold up 100 gal.

There was a time that we couldn't afford to buy bottled water, so whenever we got a severe weather forecast, we would fill up the tubs and any container with a lid not in use.

  7. I appreciate this conversation 😌 Thank you so much for sharing 💜 I have been learning, growing, and canning, but I definitely have not done everything that was on our list since Beryl 🤦🏾‍♀️ You are not alone. Let's go!!

  8. I started preparing in 2020. Had toilet paper that lasted me for 2 yrs before i had to buy more. Attempted patio gardening but was unsuccessful then got disgusted with pests (caterpillars and other crop destroyers). Tried the hydroponic garden but wasn’t consistent enough. I have a dehydrator (still in the box), I have a canning system (scared to use because of botulism). I have a bunch of store bought canned goods, just started buying the 10/25yr emergency food supplies from amazon. But still need to get more since i know a blackout is coming where our satellites will be targeted by Russia. Even added an atlas to my list.

  9. Thanks for sharing on how to survive Great Depression and very good tips you gave out. Also I like when you talk about harvest and restocking.

  10. First of all thank you for taking time to share and give knowledge. Question…What is the difference between what you do and “prepping”? I say that because often times people are actually prepping but they despise the label of “Prepper”. The negative connotation of being a Prepper has poisoned the movement. There is a unstated thought of a crazy person wearing a tinfoil hat counting grains of rice in a basement in the dark. Lol. The truth is preppers are people that think ahead and not only plan for themselves for others around them that live only for the now. So with that being said family embrace the title. Preparing makes you a Prepper. It’s not a scarlet letter. When the hard times come I promise you nobody is going to call you weird for handing them food and toilet paper to wipe what you ate. Let’s step away from the negative. Canning foods is basically the physical personification of prepping. It’s literally storing food for future eating. In other words “preparing “ to eat in the future. Again thanks. Take care and be as kind to others as often as you can. Share info. 🤎👍🏾✊🏾🏆

  11. Always proceed as the Holy Spirit (that something that won’t let you go) is leading you. Preparation is key and Joseph saved many because he prepared; we have been preparing and do not care who calls us preppers, it’s a necessary thing. I don’t (but not judging) understand my Christian brethren who simply say “God will provide, if it happens, and do absolutely nothing to prepare…Faith without Works is Dead. Thank you for your obedience in speaking on this. GOD bless your harvest and your home🙏🏽💞 (new subscriber🙌🏿🥰)

  12. Also, when forging, learn to recognize which plants are medicinal and how to use them, as some can be toxic if not processed correctly. We are surrounding by lakes and are fish eaters.🤗 I barter now and items like coffee, flour and sugar are great items to have and skills of carpentry and electrical, will be very handy. Take inventory pray and proceed! Love this video, you have added to my list of items to stock, thank you!

  13. I agree, 100%. The Lord will not get this thought out of my mind. I must prepare so my family can make it through whatever may come next. I trust in God, but I know he has given me strong hands and a sharp mind to work hard and use discernment.

  14. I believe God put this on your heart for me. I was moments away from making an unnecessary purchase. After watching this video I am resetting my focus. I am going to build/put together a binder of recipes, skills, medical records and financial information in the event there is an electrical or an internet outage. Most of that information is currently digital. Thanks for following God’s directive.

  15. Storing water is great. Store for toilet usage, or fresh water for cooking, drinking, washing foods, alot of things. My hubby has every wall in my den with fresh water bottles. Lord I need a bigger home for this prepping items. Dont forget a Berkey too! I just purchased some new filters for my Berkey.

  16. Hello, your video popped up and I clicked. I just wanted to share I had an angelic visitation in 2015. He told me what was/is coming. Everything you spoke of is exactly what everyone should be doing. Thanks for sharing and reaching people with your words.

  17. GOD is GOOD 👍. Keep speaking his word. You really know when he speaks to your heart. He doesn't stop untill you do what he ask you to do. AMEN.
