  1. Just found your channel.
I am following because I purchased a rundown home on a 6 lot plot. My intention was to create what you have. 6 years later, still no chickens or even one garden bed.
Other people's problems have derailed my plans.
Your channel has inspired me to refocus on me and my dreams.
Thank you for your content. ❤❤❤

  2. In the uk we have a strawberry variety called marshmello, if you can get it there I highly recommend it! I grew it because it’s one that doesn’t get grown commercially as they don’t store long (so you need to eat or preserve soon after picking) but they were the most delicious strawberries 🍓 I have ever grown 🥰

  3. We usually replant strawberries every 3 years and we have a great harvest every year thanks to that! We have Elsantas, they are so delicious and are ready to be picked in late may

  4. Can I please ask you how your got your beautiful snapdragons to go grow? Those are my favorite flowers in the world and I can’t ever seem to find a variety that grow as big and beautiful as yours. Any tips on how to get them to look as good as yours ?
PS I’m your biggest fan 💜🥰

  5. Let me know when you are redoing your strawberries because I have to do the same thing but not sure what time to do this ….I have heard that the strawberries have a disease problem, so I am afraid to order new strawberry plants.

  6. if all powerful benevolent god is the true creator of every thing not the satans ruling you human slaves then why would god want & need to create system of life where any thing clean becomes dirty by default but any thing dirty never becomes clean by default ?

  7. Hi Bri. What size pot do you grow your Hibiscus in? I’m very limited in space, but would love to grow one this year.

  8. Hello! SW MO here. So happy you showed the zinnias. Beautiful garden tour. Thank you. Peace-

  9. One of the prettiest wreaths I ever had for my home decor was a massive grapevine wreath with assorted florals and dried okra pods. The okra pods made the wreath and were what attracted me to it in the first place when I saw it displayed in a crafts consignment shop. I guess my point in reminiscing about my wreath is that you don't have to eat everything you grow to enjoy it. 😉

  10. I made several batches of sriracha this year and it’s delicious. I used the 5-ingredient sriracha recipe by Grant Yoder (should pop up on Google, that’s where I got it). I skipped the post fermentation sugar add, but that a personal preference. Keep up the great work!

  11. I'm not sure what variety you have now, but Seascape strawberries are awesome. I have sucess growing them in central Kansas.

  12. Are you freeze drying cantaloupe & honeydew ? I work for a regenerative farmer here in ohio and we freeze dry the 2nds. YUM!

  13. Keep your strawberries if you can nurture your soil really well 🍓 there’s a fungus (Neo for short) that is wreaking havoc on strawberries and it’s impacting the US hard right now for fall plants. If you do bring them in, be cautious and make sure they’re tested clean. And most plugs are actually out of stock now. (Janelle in Ohio.)

  14. I’m chatty today. ::: did you know there are larger – rounded varieties of loofa that grow even better in our zones? These loofas are light sensitive, like onions. The others ones that I’m getting on Etsy aren’t. Better (and easier to sew even) sponges ! I only got 4 loofas from 2 plants this year started indoors. 6a.

  15. Beautiful garden! I had no idea about the snapdragon tip!! I think I would entertain myself with that for way too long

  16. Do you think all types of cantaloupe detachs themself? Ive tried searching for that information where I buy my seeds here in sweden but cant find that information anywhere 😅

  17. The only this I would do is cut the blight off the tomatoes. It will give your plants more energy to finish the tomatoes. Your garden is gorgeous! My garden was a failure this year but I’m on the coast of Louisiana & it has been so difficult to grow anything the last few years because of the heat.

  18. Hey, Bre😃 If my plants suffer some kind of blight and I have to pull them, like for example rust, must I toss and replace the soil as well or can I safely plant something else in the same soil?
    😊

  20. Hey, I'm in zone 8a but the temperature are quite low those few days and I was wondering when I should harvest everything (my summer crops) because the temps are too low … For the next two weeks the lower temps are arround 5-10°C (41- 50 f) and the higher will be arround 12-20°C (53-68 f) …

Normally I still have my summer crops in october TBH so I dont know what to do …

  21. Such a nice September garden! I can totally relate to not being quite ready to go into fall. I love our garden this year so much and it was my best gardening year yet. I just thrive in the warmer months and don't wanna go into the colder month (I'm in Zone 7b). But let's make the most of the last warmer weeks 🙂

  22. I’m so excited I’m going to be starting my own garden here soon. I’m 17 and still in high school so I’m very new to this but I think it’s so cool to be in touch with nature and to grow your own food.

  23. Strawberries only really produce for 2 to 3 years and that’s why you plant the babies that they put out and grow them up so that you are constantly having succession of new plants. We like the June bearing and the ever bearing varieties. I keep planting the shoots that they put out and that’s how we’ve been able to get them for quite a few years now, but you have to keep up with them. They are, more of a labor of love than some other plants that you can start new seeds and new sprouts every year or definitely more than other perennials that can exist in a garden

  24. I have Albion strawberries. They're huge and delicious and hardy plants. They're producing like crazy over the whole season. Actually the last month I'm getting so many per day 😅 no signs of slowing down Ontario Canada zone 5 b

  25. I grew inca jewels for the first time this year, and they were in a bad spot so didnt doo too well but I will definitely try them again next year in a better area. My favorite Roma is Pompeii, they are prolific and huge! Whittling down the better varieties. 😅

  26. May I suggest a couple of long big elevated planters along your fence? That space is not used for much anyway and might be a good spot for your strawberries.

  27. Wow, this video is really inspiring! 🌟 The gardening tips she shares and the pictures are so beautiful! Everyone should try their hand at growing plants to enjoy the sweet fruits and joy of nature! 💚🌿

  28. Have you considered Mexican Sour Gherkins? They're vines and do well in partial shade. I had three vines, one is still producing even now in late September. Once they start producing it's a tsunami. They're basically a snack food.
I literally eat 10-20 a day when i do my morning garden check before I leave for work and every Saturday I bring a bowl to work with me to share with my team. I have not pickled them yet, but that is on the menu for next year.
The last surviving vine is intermingled with my passion fruit vine. So next year I might do that again and intentionally grow on the same archway.

I've been growing white alpine strawberries for a few years. They taste like candy, I really like them. They're fragile and do not store well so you eat what you harvest. I have mine in pots so I can move them around. They do not like summer, so i keep them in mostly shade for the summer and then mostly sun for the spring and autumn.

For tomatoes, I tried something called Blueberry Tomato/Dark Cherry Tomato. They're small fruits but prolific. Great for salads etc…or just straight up snacking.

I replaced almost all of my snapdragons and lupine with red milkweed and now I have monarch butterfly cocoons in my yard. I am waiting for them to hatch.
I'm pretty sure it's late in the year for them, I just hope they all hatch this week.

I tried catmint as a companion plant to help with pests and bees love it.
I did not have aphid issues this year, which is nice. But I am in a constant of war with Japanese Beetles, earwigs, and ground hogs (I live next to a forest).

    Your garden is awesome!

    edit: I'm in South Jersey
