Incredible backyard transformation starting with an old beat up deck that definitely needed replacing. We built a composite deck with an outdoor kitchen and a hot tub built into the deck! The deck led down to a beautiful paver patio with a river inlay!

  1. Why attach it to the house and not a free-standing deck? No shade sucks. Must've been a small budget considering the abilities of your crew 😂

  2. Out of curiosity, what was the cost on this build? Or average cost of a build similar to this if you don't want to give specifics.

  3. The tile work it's very satisfying ❤
It would be helpful if you added a ballpark $$$ that way people know what's possible for them

  4. Why isn't there an update to the "huge deck" project Sean and Catherine? This is a non-sequester video you could post "whenever"
    …….disappointing

  5. I'm always excited to see your latest construction projects. The quality of your work and the professionalism you bring to each video are outstanding. Your videos are a fantastic resource for anyone interested in learning more about construction.

  6. First time viewer. Enjoyed it. When I do, I read comments. Several inquiring cost. The ONLY reason there is no response is that he cant lie, the homeowner would see it or he really stuck it to them and is embarrassed to explain…….lol. Build wise? Only thing I see as potential problem is that is a long span for just one canter leaver joist at outer edge. Should be another between house and outer rail. I know the joists are big but adding center canter leaver beam would have made it bulletproof. Other than that fantastic job!

  7. Hey I doubt you are seeing this but I may have a Job for you if you are up to do it. My budget is $300,000 and I need something like that but bigger with a 40ft pool. I am willing to pay extra for you if you need it. Reply to this if you are up to do it and I can get you a plane ticket if it is to far. People like this so better chance of seeing this!!!

  8. For all the time/money spent, something truly boundary-pushing could have been produced. Instead, we have an extremely dated Costco magazine looking result. And we didn’t even plumb gas to the firepit area. FAIL.

  9. Is is normal to do the tile twice, they made the circle full of tile. Then cut a path and removed the tile. Did the owner change their mind?
