These are my top 3 seed starting tools. Not only are they affordable, but I use them from when I start seeds in February, until I finish planting items in August, so they are well worth the cost.
• Dibbler 2 pk for $10 https://amzn.to/3TWzYQy (I keep one in my garden cart for in ground planting, and one with my potting supplies)
• Metal scoop 2pk for $10 https://amzn.to/3J5bdLu (I keep one with my soils, and the other with my ammendments)
• Proptek Propagation tray https://www.greenhousemegastore.com/products/26-x-13-proptek-propagation-trays (I originally bought one years ago- check out my greenhouse megastore videos- and then bought a case of 10. I use them to start all of my vegetables- or both personal use and my plant sale- flowers, and all of my pumpkins. They have shown no wear, and they are left in extreme temps year round. I’ve been known to forget the tray outside after planting in May, and find it the next spring after the snow melts. These are a bit more of an investment, but the trays are large, and hold somewhere from 162-244 plants. I use the 162 ones so that I can use the same one for pumpkins as I do for other plants)

The dibbler looks kinda sus 👀😂
I think its just my engineering man-brain being simple when im writing the labels for my plants then use the butt of the sharpie to make the seed before continuing to the next label
