  1. Is there a trick to getting the Gallagher poultry netting so beautifully taut ? Lol …. I haven’t even taken mine out of the box because of AP (analysis paralysis) 😂😂😂. I’ve been looking at that darn box for a month 🥴💚

  2. I guess you don't have coyotes there. If I let my roosters free range, they would be coyote dinner. I currently have 5 roosters and need to get rid of them. You're so cute!

  3. Ohhhh! That necklace is just too stinking cute!! You have a very talented mother-in-love ❤️

  4. The Confederate rose and Rose of Sharon are different. The Confederate Rose is also called Cotton Tree because the blooms mimic cotton blooms. Rose of Sharon is also called Althea. Finding a wonderful surprise is always fun. Ginger blooms smell soo good

  5. I honestly hate rutabagas! Every Friday for dinner, my stepmother made liver & rutabagas! Ugh!😝 Her cousin would make hominy. Another ugh!😝 Same cousin used to make grits with sugar. Ugh! 😝 Very southern people.

  6. I harvested my last eggplants just the other day. Northern Indiana has had several frosts/freezes over the last 3 weeks. Its been as low as 30 a few times. My eggplants are in a protected bed and I was surprised they have lasted this long.

  7. Your silver hair is coming in beautifully. It reminds me of when my Nana stopped dying her hair she said she earned her silver hair so it meant she was worth more. You my friend are a treasure and now you have the silver to show it ❤❤❤❤

  8. When chickens have enough room, there is no drama. Molting, shorter days, etc. add to them laying less. Sorry you're feeling puny. I hope you feel better quickly. I only have girls in my flock. I date every egg when I collect them so there's no question on oldest eggs. I believe you have a freeze dryer. Do you freeze dry eggs? God Bless! Don't forget to vote!

  9. "The amount of time I've spent thinking about this task has been more than it will take me to accomplish the task"…. I feel like you just described my brain. 😂

  10. Amazing. Thanks for sharing all that info. I bought a rose of Sharon hibiscus 🌺 in memory of my godmother passing 12 months ago. So exciting learn it’s the one that changers colour. Love the necklace and the ginger haul. I’ve planted a shop bought one a month ago heating into summer soon here in Oz 🇦🇺🦘

  11. Ginger is wonderful freeze dried. I didn’t have fresh grown but nonetheless it’s wonderful to just have on hand. I’ve grown turmeric and I always leave a chunk in the pot and it comes back each yr…unless the husband pulls it bc he thinks it’s a weed. 🤦‍♀️

  12. The wholely bestest part of watching your videos is that it's like a visit with your homesteady friend.
You don't ever know what you're gonna be doing, but you know it'll be a great visit.
Please don't ever story board a video Jess…lol
The REAL is why we come here.😊
