A beautiful autumn week in rural mountains of New England at my a-frame cabin. Reflecting on the lessons of autumn, harvesting, working and preparing for the cold. Also hoping to get the diy cabin renovations rolling in the next couple months!

  2. You both bring me so much Joy in Immersing myself in your wonderful videos. Your videos take my mind off the craziness of the world. Thank you Ally and Kyle !😍

  3. Just bought a Jackery for my little house (900 square feet) for when we have the grid go down which in a rural area does a lot!!Thank you for the recommendation, Ally🥰🙏🏼❣️🌈

  4. Just half or quarter the apples and cook in skins, seeds and all. Cook with a bit of water and a halved lemon. Remove lemons and put through a food mill. The sauce will be a gorgeous pink color. You can add cinnamon and sweetener after the mill if you want and cook a few minutes longer.

  5. Been watching your videos for awhile now, your hard work inspiring, you two so sweet together, & everything and you just so beautiful, just wanted to say your kindness & beauty just seeps through in your work, thanks for all you do! fall fav: the light

  6. I look forward to seeing your videos every week. Wish there could be more. Its so calming to listen to you and seeing the beautiful country you get to live in. My heart yearns to be like you living out in that beauty. ❤
Just one note : if you take your apple peels and cores and soak them to grind up people tell me you can make jelly out of all of it. Nothing goes to waste.

  7. I so love you and your husband's channels y'all are awesome thank you so much for being a breath of fresh air in these times❤

  8. “Did you just flip the camera off?”

That had me rolling. 😂 My husband and I have been together for 14.5 years and that is so something we’d say to each other.

  9. You are my everything. I will do everything to make you happy. I am lost without you. Shamim 🦅🎎👏👫🧜‍♀️🫂💑🤝🕊🏕🏢

  10. Take some of those dry chopped leaves you mowed over and deep mulch the transplants to keep future weeds down.

  11. It seems to me you may want to give a name to your friend, the 'Bat' who watches over you:) Certainaly this critter is MAGICAL! It is exciting she she is hanging out watching you like a guardian. A MESSAGE of rebirth, looking deep within yourself, and being able to see in the dark! On the practical side I have had many bats that have gotten into my house. I have watched them soar out from the Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico and most recently here in Arizona from the dividing brick wall and this is where you want to do some research. Bats can enter 1/4" of a space opening. There were maybe 30 bats that took home in this dividing wall raising their babies. We know bats are very important to our ecosystem. We must also know and be aware that their poo, if enough of it and once dry, can be picked up by the breeze and can cause respiratory illness if inhaled. If they get into your house or walls they will breed; dry compost can get into your air vents. Although I think it would be rare, if threatened, they could bite if something is in close proximity like a cat. Because the temperatures are going down they need a home. Bat houses are recommended in woods so they go there instead of your house and can still be part of your ecosystem. You would need to do that soon because bats need a place to live & hibernate especially in your harsh temperature during the winter. If they do get into the house or in a closed area, before sealing It off, WAIT until they fly off at dusk. Once they hybernate you will need to wait until spring when they start flying out again. You want to seal it before they start having babies or else wait till the babies can fly so that they can get out of the closed area. I hope this makes sense but you can research yourself and I know you would love making bat houses! I want to share acknowledgment of your Channel but will do that next time. I'm loving your Channel❤! Maybe this BAT is asking you to build a bat house because it knows someone like YOU WOULD❤❤❤

Do you have any recommendations for lace-up boots? I can’t find a pair that I love. Thank you for another beautiful video – they are such a comfort. Have a wonderful week! ☀️🍃🍂🍁

  14. Fall is one of my favorite seasons… along with Spring… I love the colors of the changing leaves, and different foliage… I love how the earth gets ready for the winter… the cycle of the seasons, the smells of autumn, the crispness of the air… it’s also a favorite time for me because I always get to spend time on Cape Cod… in Late September and early October…( it’s where I am now)… try to catch a fish from the beach… and see the beauty of the ocean… hearing the waves… the sunset… it’s a wonderful time of year… especially here. Lobster Rolls… little neck clams… chowder… and any other kind of seafood that I like, here! Yeah… I really Love the fall… it’s always so beautiful!!!🍁🍂🍁
