I am an avid backyard gardener, specializing in raised bed and container gardening in small spaces! I grow a lot of fruit trees, vegetables and tropical plants here in my garden. My goal is to share my experiences growing food in a small subdivision yard. I hope to inspire beginner gardeners and teach experienced gardeners new techniques and try new things!
I do a lot of meetups and speaking engagements. So make sure to follow me on Facebook to stay up to date with all my events!

You have an amazing yard!
Thank you for the tour – impressive (hi from Central Texas – yeehaw)
What an interesting video. You have so many good interesting plants. I like the ideas of raised beds. Keep up the good work
I'm curious about your sweet potato. Is it an experiment? We plant sweet potato slips to produce more sweet potatoes. I like that you're doing so much in a small yard. I think my favorite is the garden dog! Looking forward to more content ☺
What a great garden! Absolutely lovely! So sorry we didn't get a chance to meet you in person last Friday at the dinner at Petals. We kept getting sidetracked 🙂 We thought "Well, we'll just catch up with him on Saturday at the event" but then we had a monsoon blow through and kind of soaked us and everything in our tent. Hopefully, we'll get to chat at a future event! Keep up the great work… your garden is amazing!
What an inspirational back yard garden, love all the different fig trees and variety of other plants! I really like the quick connects for the hose, seems like such a time saver.
When you cover your green house in the winter, where do you source your plastic and what mil thickness do you prefer?
The amount you’re growing in your 1/32 of an acre blows me away!👏👏👏
Looks great. So I will be the dummy to ask- How did you figure out the layout for the yard?
Quick question. Have you had any issues with high winds using the shade cloth??
Good job
amazing. I'd love to keep in touch. Central Texas gardener here and trying to network with other Texas gardeners. I grew up in Montana but have lived here 20 years. But only started gardening in the last few year so still learning. Hope we can chat.
Thank you for the tour. I actually had to get rid of all flowering plants because the carpenter bees, which are very aggressive and hostile, were eating my porch and guest house. I'm in Zone 9a (20-‐25F). Is there any tropical looking plant you would recommend? My yard is looking pretty bare.
Thank you! I'm so encouraged! I just moved and had to downsize my yard by A LOT and am now renting. I have been at a loss at what to do in the small foot print but this gives me SO MANY ideas for my massive garden and plant babies. ❤
