In today’s video I’m sharing what the garden is looking like this October! There’s a lot changing as we transition from flower to veggie crops in some areas of the garden. On our property we grow using permaculture principles and regenerative practices so to maintain as much biodiversity as we can. There’s also a lot changing in our personal lives so I wanted to sit down at the end of this video to catch up and let you know what you can expect over the next few months on the channel.

Hey there!
Welcome to my channel, The Nature Patch where I like to share all things gardening, cooking, environmental science and flower farming in my Australian bushland backyard in south coast NSW.
My name is Robyn, an environmental scientist, and flower farmer. I have recently completed my PhD in understanding how people’s wellbeing and their connection to nature is impacted by land use change but now I’m taking a break from research to pursue a dream of owning a flower farm. I’ve always loved gardening and nature and lately have been interested in growing my own organic food!
On this channel you’ll find videos relating to garden tours, ‘how to’ videos, composting, soil health and how to start a flower farm.
I try to upload twice a week and I hope you enjoy!!
π€ Filmed and edited on Yuin country. I acknowledge and pay respects to Traditional Owners of the land past, present and emerging. Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.

Its wonderful to see your garden at this time of year and hear about the exciting changes coming to your life. I can totally understand wanting a break from youtube and appreciate how much work it must be, like its evident a lot of thought and time go into your videos, on top of all the flower farming and gardening itself. I hope you, Scott and the family are all doing very well and looking forward to the next stage. Always, I wish you all the best.
Also, the lizard was super cool to see sitting in the sun like that. What a nice life it must have have there.
Hi ya , hope youβre both well, take care and stay safe cheers Barry. πͺ±πΉπ₯¬π₯¦πΊβ€οΈ
