I Bought an Abandoned Japanese Farm for $15,000 – What I Found Inside!

  1. The interior designer seems like he's trying to hard. Is he always like that, or just cringe in front of a camera?

  2. Some cities in Chiba (maybe all) have 'Green Centers' where you can take your big trash. Have you looked into that?

  3. Does it may sense to switch from thinking about the resell value of something to whether something is nice enough to giveaway for the person who would take it off your hands? Considering the disposal costs, I’d be more focused on reducing that cost than what you could get from it—of course getting ¥ would also be nice. Just trying to balance labor & time vs hard costs.

  4. Would “Garden House” be better than Farmhouse considering the size? Maybe that’s big enough for a farm in Japan?

  5. If things were my project: move valuables to shed to get rid of with the goal of making space for new materials before they are needed. You’ll be throwing out enough building demo materials & you can take your time with other treasures.

  6. hi anton i saw y 2 days ago in nakano broadway around 3 o clock on direction to shinjuku on the line orange .i was with some friends due ti my job and the day before i saw wome of your video and then i saw you on the train . .i was looking to buy a hOme so if u have some advice will be cool to find out some solution

  7. I am confused what would lead a person/family to just leave all of this behind. I can wrap my head around the propertyhaving no value, but all of this sellable stuff just sitting there is wild to me. It sort of feels like the American analogue of buying an abandoned storage unit with tens of thousands of dollars worth of artifacts inside.

  8. I'm not familiar with Japanese terminology. But what makes this a 'farm house'? It kind of looks like it's in a more or less suburban area, although a lot of garden area. I live in a farm house with 15 times more land and even that is considered miniscule around here to be seen as a farm.

  9. 20.000$ is ridiculous. Measuring the thing outside was pure actionism like "look how much i have to calculate"
Rent a truck ask 2 guys on the street if they want to work 2 days and drive it to the next recycling center. 3.000$ should be mire than enough, even if takes 5 days

  10. Even with getting rid of all of the trash and things that you didn’t want, I can’t imagine how much space you would need to store all the furniture that you were going to keep and all of the items that you were going to sell. it’s a way lot of stuff.

  11. I think those people were a little bit of hoarders how can you have so much stuff. 😮 very nice video. ❤ And $20,000 to get rid of that stuff is unbelievable wow.

  12. If any of the pokemon cards are mint rares they could be worth hundreds of dollars each, believe it or not… I'd go through those carefully.

  13. So, seing all this tras…treasures, I finally understand why your pine died on overweight on the roots structiure. Geez, man. WHat a lot of workl, what a mass, and OMG what beautiful treasures. Hopefully all of this will find a new happy owner who will give you the money back you paid for get rid of the trash.

  14. I’m surprised that you don’t have an eBay or similar storefront to sell your finds. I’m sure people would be interested.
