Great presentation. I studied history in college and focused my attention on WWII. I'm 63, an Independent voter that though on most issues leaned Democrat, I always voted Republican because of my Pro Life stand. Personally, I was disgusted when Trump won the Republican nominee. I didn't really know much about him, but the debates told me he was a narcissist and rude to his opponents. Reluctantly, I voted for him in general 2016 election. By 2017, I knew I made the biggest political mistake of my life. I started noticing trends in him that reminded me of Hitler. His use of the media, for example. Calling those who opposed him Fake News and taking interviews with those willing to lie on his behalf. Exactly, how Hitler used radio. Calling his opponents Communist or Socialist when it's clear their not. I continued to see more, then Charlottesville said it all. That was the final straw, I was done with this guy. When Republicans refused to wear masks during COVID, I decided they were not Pro Life after all and will never vote Republican again. I started doing research on Trump and Mary Trump has been a great source. It soon become clear over time to me that Trump is a Fascist dictator want to be. MAGA are his enablers. Together their a danger to Democracy.

Please keep in mind that my home state of New York is not all democratic and liberal. While New York City, Nassau County, and other cities like Syracuse, Ithaca, and Rochester are all democratic and liberal, there are a lot of ruby red republican areas in New York especially the rural counties in the Southern Tier and up in the Adirondacks. Also most of the counties along the south shore of Lake Ontario are mostly red republican. So not all of New York is deep blue democratic.
