Did you know that each individual plant has its own song? We are all made of vibrations, and there is so much that we do not register with our five senses. With the Music of the Plants technology, we can now translate the electromagnetic impulses that plants produce and turn it into music that we can hear. Today’s plant song is from Natal Plum, a popular fruiting shrub that’s also used as a hedge, security screen, foundation planting, and container plant. While the fruit is edible, the sap of the Natal plum contains latex, which can cause minor illnesses like diarrhea or vomiting if ingested. As a cousin to the toxic Oleander, its stems and leaves are poisonous and should be avoided. Natal plums can be substituted for fresh cranberries in recipes.
