Welcome Gardeners! Join me this morning for my October front garden tour! We are starting to get into prep mode for the center island, and just adding some trees and flagging pathways has already made such a huge difference! ๐ Enjoy!

Hi Janey & Jason!
Maybe move the corn stalks behind the
Trees – in the far side corners.
The planters are looking so amazing!
Your ZZ planter looks so big and full… the purple fountain grass especially… a nursery in MT Shasta gave me 2 of them said they were annuals and would die soon, but they are doing great just hope that they survive our winters here.
Can't imagine the sedge grass. I kinda think I had that in my orchard and it gets into your shoes! Hope it is not what I had its just messy.
My plumbago isnโt preforming well this year. Last year I loved it so this year I planted three more. Any tips for more blooms? Yours is stunning! ๐ 9a costal Alabama
What you have accomplished in only one year is incredible!!! Itโs coming together so beautifully!! I mean jaw dropping amazing!! Even things like your zigzag planterโฆ.. I would have ripped that out before I did anything elseโฆ. But WOW! You have made it work so well! It adds so much dimension when you have a pro such as yourself to plant it up in a way that makes it truly shine!!!
Hey Janie! I love your channel and am learning so much!
Regarding your front door decor, it might pull it together if you used a wide buffalo plaid ribbon bow around each tree trunk. Just a thought. I love buffalo plaid and it speaks "fall" to me. Thanks for the great content!!
You two have done so much. Beautiful job โค
Aren't you worried about planting over your septic system?
Is that willow planted close to the power lines?
Everythingโs looking amazing! Just an idea. Why not put some arches with the Eden climber over the orchard garden walkway? I think it would look awesome and help mirror the shade garden arch.
Imagine the pathway through the island as a lush lawn pathway. Unless you can have (long term because of $$) water in the island – your dry creek bed as well as the crushed pathway seem unnecessarily hot. 'Paint as grass' the pathway on your screen and see what you think. Watch Alan Titchmarsh 50 Shades of Green @ 41.45. "But I like to think I've saved the best for last" he says modestly. It is of course his own garden.
The garden is coming along so beautifully. You and Jason should be proud of everything youโve accomplished.
Your garden is looking so good so quickly but next year it will be amazing! Can't wait to see it come alive next spring!
I love your videos and watch you daily. When I lived in California we planted hydrangeas in the shade, successfully and they brightened the area. You inspire!
Stunning transformation – your hard work is paying off big time! Take your time, enjoy the process. Excited about Monty's upcoming obedience lessons. He is such a handsome guy, and brings a lot of life to your home. Be consistent with him, and reinforce the behaviour you want. He's such a wonderful addition to your family. Best from Ottawa, Ontario. Well done, I really enjoy your channel, and continue to learn so much…
Are you allowed to paint your propane tank to disguise it? Then use plants to take ones eye away from it.
Instead of repeating all your plant information and plans in your monthly garden tours, what if you focused on plants;ย what's growing or not and what's in bloom since we've already heard all the information in other videos, some several times.ย I would love to watch a garden tour instead of another information video ๐
The gophers got 18 of my 21 artichoke plants. I'm not a fan of gophers, even if they are God's creatures. Hey, I don't like spiders either . . . but it is lovely to see the progress in your gardens!
What a huge difference!!
It is hilarious how Monty just pops his head in so many shots as Janey takes us through the garden.
I really like how your zig zag planter gives u privacy. Great choice
Your garden is being transformed into a beautiful place. Janie, what color did you use to stain your fence?
Great video as always. Thank you for sharing your gardening experiments. Hope it turns out well.
Beautiful, beautiful! You've made so much progress! I live in the thumb of Michigan so our outdoor gardening season is over!!! All of you higher zone gardeners give me something to watch throughout our cold months! ๐๐
19:03 this tulip tree is going to look amazing. First-hand experience. โค
Willows here are weeds! Hope itโs not too close to the power line
Looks great! beautiful. Since the path doesn't seem go towards the pavilion/gazebo… how will you get to the gazebo? Will you put a path behind it going towards the house?
