Welcome to the first trailer of our journey in creating a modern Japanese garden. Our initial step focuses on establishing a robust drainage system. It’s crucial to understand where the water will flow during rains and floods to prevent soil erosion and maintain the garden’s beauty for years to come.
The first step is cleaning up the area. Clean up involves removing all unwanted plants and debris, preparing the site for further work.
The next step is installing the irrigation system. Before planting and setting up any design elements, ensuring proper watering is essential. A well-designed irrigation system will keep all the plants hydrated, especially in the hot climate of the San Diego mountains.
Another key aspect is the installation of underground electrical wiring. We lay underground cables for garden lighting and other decorative elements, adding both functionality and a unique nighttime ambiance to your garden.
Working on this project has been particularly challenging due to the tough soil in the San Diego mountains. We used specialized equipment for trenching and worked manually to prepare the soil for planting.
This Reels showcases the preparation work: installing the drainage system, the irrigation system, and planning the entire project layout. Witness our efforts and enjoy the process of creating your perfect modern Japanese garden.
Stay tuned for more trailers, as we reveal each step of our project. This is just the first of seven trailers, leading up to the final video showcasing the entire garden. Don’t miss the upcoming trailers to see how this beauty comes to life!
