  1. Fixing the deck is an act of real kindness to yourself, get some rest and restored energy before winter kicks in–indoor work will keep you focused when its white outside..just be safe and take care of you.

  2. Don’t forget to bleach the other part of the deck before staining, that way colors would more similar in appearance.

  3. Deck looks great, glad you didn't fall through on that, especially that high up. Think the animals approve the deck too, lol. Might want to add that sand or gravel stuff to paint so you don't go ice skating off of it this winter. Thanks for sharing this. Have a great evening .😊

  4. ❤You know What They Say Annmarie, If You want to Hear God Laugh just Tell Him YOUR Plans.. 😊 You Did a Beautiful Job & Made it Look Amazing & Easy!! ❤ God Bless & HUG THOSE Furbabies for Me.. ❤

  5. Good job on the deck. I'm glad you didn't have to rebuild the frame too. It made for a quick change out of the top boards only.

  6. Costs is what stops me from getting jobs done. Everything is so expensive.
I hope you have enough leftover to do your back porch too.

  7. 😎 Nice job! Dillie loves the new deck too! Good idea using the Zip tape, that stuff is awesome. I had some left over after a full kitchen remodel. I had a cracked plastic bucket and taped it up a year ago and it still holds water! 😊

  8. Nice job Annmarie. It must be like a comedy show up there with God … Sometimes I think He’s playing ‘your it ‘ too. That said though, He’s never early, He’s never late. He’s always on time. ❤️

  9. GF I had a coworker that fell thru a porch just like that. He was a old man, just got over open heart surgery and broke his leg. It was bad. I'm so glad God put you where you needed to be. You sure know how to do things. Geez I would of had to hire someone for about everything you have done. I envy you.

  10. Oh no about your deck! Yes I make plans, but my plans often get changed on me do to life, great work on the deck! (even with the struggles.. but that is real life)

  11. Another job well done. I do have a question though – why didn't you get deck boards long enough to hang over the vertical boards that are closing in the around the bottom of the deck – it would have given a more finished/professional look to the job.

  12. Great 👌 job 👍. I have learned that if you ask GOD to help me things seem to go easier. I sometimes when I start my day ask GOD what do we do today? He always helps when asked. I too will try to fix by myself. Learning something new is a amazing feeling. Great job.
