  1. It’s funny that everyone uses social media to advertise their work now but a lot of the people who want to use services like that are older and don’t use computers in any way are looking through yellow pages trying to find people to help them with stuff and can’t find anyone. I watch my parents struggle with this all the time and get so frustrated that no one puts their details in the phone books anymore.

  2. Weeds! Weeds, weeds, weeds, my zone 9 (our new zone 10) yard is the garden of weeding! Put one and five more come up and it doesn’t make any difference what time of year it is there’s always plenty of weeds

  3. In another persons video explained it all first and second place had 1 point difference and there was an actual tie for 3rd. They did not explain how the tie was broken or I missed. There was only a few points between all the winners. It has been fun to watch the videos from some of the people who worked on it.

  4. Will you have to block the fish from being able to go in to the dream stream during the coldest winter days? I think I saw a video of Greg or one of the pins guys showing a frozen fish in a stream video last year…

  5. Aaron, we had a Maine Coon that loved water. Supervised the bathroom sinks, demanded after shower pets and always with the kids by the bathtub. Kiara…we loved her so.

  6. I'm in Southeast Texas and have a very low spot in the back right corner of my yard. Who needs dirt? Dreaming!!

  7. How this is possible Laura, because you and Aaron are amazing! You both work so hard, you deserve it, enjoy it. Like I said before, you two will be in books as the greatest Gardner's for people to learn from forever. Save all the video's to keep helping us, and our future generations around the world.🌼🏵🌺🌴

  8. What a week! So many wonderful videos! The dream stream, the new trees, your moms garden. Every day was terrific. The soup looked divine… My spoons cringed when they heard Aaron's disparaging comments. I'm going to make the soup and hope it turns out as thick as yours. Have a great week!💙💙💙

  9. I have a Brown Turkey Fig( part of the common type). Yes. The figs are inverted flowers. You do need to fertilize your tree for fruit to set. Common figs are self pollinating. But the other types need to be cross pollinated.

  10. We check everytime we put our high outdoor working boots on here in the mountains of California. Zone 7.😢❤❤ Recluse Spiders, as I understand can kill you.

  11. Your Dream Stream looks like a natural large creek with bank riparian area. So gorgeous! Looks like a forest or woodland scene in nature not an artificially crafted product. Wow! Kudos to the designers and crafts people!

  12. The boulders and rocks looks so natural in your landscape. Have you considered placing some boulders in the mixed borders around the perimeter and in the South garden?

  13. We have a saying about people and how they behave when they are all for the greater good – They have no agenda – meaning they want the best of any situation they are in. Just like you guys! Hx

  14. I do remember you being hesitant to rip out those big boxwoods (the ring?) in that area the stream/pond is now, and couldn’t see what it could become.
Could you have ever imagined what it is now? What a tremendous beautiful space it is, and will become. Sometimes we have to go backwards to go forwards.

  15. Once again my Sunday afternoon "garden answer " highlights time was wonderful. Everything looks beautiful. Nothing really Said about whether the kids are liking their new water playground. I imagine it's great but would love very to see it when they're playing in it to get a better idea of how it looks and works.

  16. I know what the new project is going to be….I bet it will be a nice water feature near the horses. Having natural way streams with a pond lake in the middle.

  17. I love Christmas lights especially if they are not the obnoxious flashing ones. If I go walking at night, to be able to see the lights is awesome. My neighbors have lights during the holidays and have them on until about 1pm. They don't bother anyone and we all love them.

  18. There no reason to be concerned about possums urinating on your horses hay…unless…you plan on putting feed hay on the ground. Possums are not going to climb 3/4 ft high just to pee on some hay 😂 They're too busy hunting for ticks, etc 👌Also…Jason @ "Cog Hill Farm" (utube) is a wealth of information about multiple kinds of fig trees🎉 He is also brilliant about so, so many easypeasy gardening "tips&tricks"😊

  19. Stopped the video! What? Wait! Little talks about next year pond with Brian? I can't wait to see what else. Every single thing this man thinks is pure artistry. Something to look forward to for sure. Now going to rewind to hear it again. And Again….
