Homeworthy i sure hope you keep this series going
I swear Ruth is always planning for a wedding, yet she seems so chill. I would be a nervous wreck, LOL! ❤
As usual, Ruth is excellent! Her videos are my favorite!
I put a whole pumpkin pie in the fridge for myself too, Ruth!!! I LOVE cold pumpkin pie for breakfast (and snacks and a bite here and there…) ❤🥧🥧🥧
Hi Ruth. Do you ship your cookbook to Canada?🇨🇦
Just love it! Do you have advice on how to keep unwanted critters from making their home in the barn ( getting into cushions or blankets etc)
Just lovely ❤❤❤
Love this so much!
Lovely episode, thank you for sharing ❤❤
Ruth, what a lovely person you are. I can’t wait to see your daughter’s wedding 🎉God bless you all!
Another fabulous episode with the amazing Ruth McKeaney!! 😊 I enjoy these so much. Baking with her daughter was so sweet. I love everything they did in the barn. What a dream space!!
Very mixed thoughts on this episode even though the recipes themselves look yummy. If you are going to teach someone to make a pie then why not make an effort to teach some basic techniques to give them the tools to be successful starting with not having them try to roll out dough that hasn't been chilled? I honestly felt sorry and a little bit embarrassed for the poor sap daughter struggling with no guidance other than the BS of making a 'rustic pie'? There is technique to rolling, crimping, transferring dough etc. as Ruth well knows imo and not sure why she didn't want to impart her knowledge to her daughter? To just leave her to fend for herself with absolute inexperience, zero standards and warm dough is honestly just plain mean and unhelpful imo. No wonder more people don't attempt to make pies if this is what passes for 'teaching' someone what to do! Do better Ruth!
I love your show and I love your dresss please tell where you got it
Wonderful episode! Thank you!
Love your videos. THank you. Blessings.
The absolute best pumpkin pie recipe comes from an old McCall’s cookbook and includes cinnamon, ginger, cloves, nutmeg and allspice AND MOLASSES.
You don’t have to poke a few holes in the top ?
I love this! Everything Ruth fies is so amazing. She makes you feel like you are a good friend. ❤
Alex is so cute and natural!
I love making pies and come from a long line of pie bakers and am passing it on to my daughters. We all have our own way of doing things and I’m sure yours were delicious. I’m going to try your apple recipe. I just love warm apple pie. Also pumpkin. Hope the wedding goes well. Four of mine are married 1 to go now soon the grands might start. It’s such a joyful occasion if started in the Lord.
Ruth…thank you so,so much for sharing your beautiful home and family! Each video is like warm apple pie with vanilla ice cream!💛
Beautiful. I can’t imagine how much these renovations must have cost. Must be unlimited budget which is unbelievable
Thank you so much for the beautiful content!! Thank you for sharing your special family moments as well. If you ever decide to do a ring collection – I will be the first to order.
I'l take more Ruth please.
love
Love anything Hillside Farm, will definitely try making the apple pie recipe🍎
'Crisco' is vegetable fat also marketed as Kremelta for those of us in the southern hemisphere. I wouldn't have thought of adding it to a pie crust!
A can of pumpkin is traditional omg
LOVE this video! I’m asking for your book for Christmas this year and can’t wait. And please let Alex know that I’ve made homemade pies for years and her crust looks better than mine…..no lie!!!! I love pies that are rustic, I’m not entering any pie competitions so there’s that, lol!😂
So glad the hair is pulled back! Enjoyed your video.
Once again, I love Ruth…I'd love to be a friend, learn to bake, plant, plan….
Use your knuckles to flute the pie crust edge. My mother was the pie maker for a major restaurant chain back in the 50's. She taught me, and now, that craft is a treasure, as I no longer have my sweet mother.
Wonderful as usual!
Can we have the recipe? Or do we have to buy the book?
Thank you for the pie crust recipe
Ruth needs to not be so bossy
I could watch videos with Ruth all the time. They have such a warm, home'y feel. Just love them. Thank you for making them and when this year is over, please, come up with a new series with Ruth and her family and friends. Thank you! 🙂
Love these videos…just lovely ❤
