You harvested the lemon grass perfectly. You don't have to peel the stalk. I just take a little bit off if it looks brown/dry, otherwise I just use the whole stalk as is, no peeling. You can use the stalk whole or cut to desired lengths as it fits in your pot or bottle.
Keep doing what you’re doing. Your channel is my favorite and I enjoy supporting you as best I can.
Great demonstration 😊
I live in the Caribbean and we use the lemon grass leaves in tea, you can use the whole plant …. Love your videos ❤
Love the new intro!
🏡🌻
The lemongrass leaves are dried and used for tea for fever and colds.
Nice as always!
I am the worst at not harvesting my herbs 🤣🌱
I’m trying to grow my own apothecary; I need more discipline 🤨
There is absolutely nothing wrong with your sponsored content. There have been items I hadn't even thought of until seeing your "sponsored" content. Keep it up, Asia!! We appreciate it!!
Rosemary is one of my favs!!
Keep the sponsored content coming, get yo money. People who rock with you don't mind.
You sponsor that content!
I don’t know anything about lemon grass, but my son uses it in cooking. He used it in a stir fry. The stalk was still green and he just sliced the stalk up crosswise in little pieces. You couldn’t eat it because it was too hard, but it added a really good lemon flavor. I don’t think he had a recipe, but he had a college roommate who was from Singapore, who taught him a lot of oriental cooking. Hope this helps. Even if it’s not used medicinally, it’s still a good way to use what you have.
I love the sponsored content! It always helps me decide which products will work with the flow of my homestead. Exciting to see you getting closer to 40k 🎉🎉
You are so inspiring me to continue on my journey towards an apothecary. I haven’t been the best at harvesting my herbs either but this past summer I’ve been better.
You called it Lemon balm and grass. You have grass not balm. I have tons of balm. They're growing differently
Hi beautiful, I love your channel! I love how you show everything the good, bad, and sometimes not-so-pretty. I would like to suggest one thing put parchment paper on your jars that have alcohol, so it won't corrode the caps. I’m learning about herbal remedies as well. I also don't have an issue with you getting sponsorship. I will be watching all the commercials as well to help you. Enjoy your journey of it all!💐✌🏽
I think it’s fantastic you’re getting sponsorships! I’m so glad you’re getting to do things you enjoy! ❤
Thought I'd pop-up and see how.

Yes, you can cut back lemongrass although don't cut more then 1/3 of the plant
❤❤❤
I trim and dry lemongrass throughout the growing season. I usually don't harvest the root until the very end of the season and or as needed. It's actually a cut and come again plant.
Sis, your smile is everything. I love your content
Oh and, it's your channel anyway. Do the sponsored content. ☺️🫶🏾
Those bee looking insects are wasps. I have them as well. They don't bother me but they do eat the pests so that's nice.
I've recently learned Lemon Balm doesn't have a long shelf life and it's best used fresh.
I don’t care about the sponsored content. You’re doing me a favor by being here and giving me so much info on gardening in zone 7b! Thanks for sharing!
Don't apologize for sponsorships! You always pick relevant products and I believe most of us would prefer our ad views supporting you. <3
I have that it’s an encyclopedia. Awesome I was a little discouraged the rabbits ate a bag of my carrots the dears was eating leaves off my plants lol but I haven’t even got everything in the ground yet 🤦🏾♀️because I don’t know how to protect it. I learned a way and I’m bout to try it I have to put a blanket over them at night.lol have a great one you encouraged me thanks
9:58 I’ve heard that rosemary grows at the entry to a strong woman’s home.
Asia, you can make lemongrass chicken. You finely blend up the stalks and add garlic and onion with it. Add soy sauce, Oyster sauce. Marinade the chicken with it for a few hours or over night. Then grill it. Delicious!
I grew up making Lemon grass tea using the leaves. I’d like to learn more about the root. I’m excited to learn with you every Saturday!
I think it great you get sponsorships. I just wish some of the stuff was more affordable but other then that get your money hunnay ❤
