Leaves will always orient themselves to optimize light collection. The only time I rotate the plant is for taking a picture. Otherwise, my monstera’s leaves are facing the door (photo 1) or the window (photo 3). In photo 2, you can see how the monstera actually looks when it is growing – I’ve been deceiving you by rotating the leaves to face the camera!
