With autumn well and truly under way, Monty shares his tips on how to get more for your money when buying perennials. Planning ahead for a vibrant spring display, he also creates a bulb lasagne in a pot and harvests his pumpkins.

Rachel de Thame explores more extraordinary ways that plants communicate with pollinators. Arit Anderson travels to West Sussex to meet two garden designers who have transformed their garden into a plant paradise, cleverly blending the space into three very distinct styles.

There’s a self-confessed butterfly obsessive with a garden packed full of nectar-rich plants. Plus a couple who have become suckers for a succulent.
