Lesley longs for a garden to spend time with her two children and four grandchildren, but her bizarrely shaped plot has her flummoxed. Not only is it compact, it goes to a strange point in one corner and has a giant shed taking up one third of the space!
Lee and Chris take up the challenge and offer designs reminiscent of Lesley’s favourite Greek holidays. It’s not long before the team begin to struggle with the odd angles in the garden. They cleverly solve the pointed corner by building a wide bed in front of it, masked with planting. They then solve the problem with the shed by turning it into a Greek taverna. But Lesley was hoping for some contemporary touches in the garden, so a stunning freestanding water feature and stylish pergola are added into the mix.
With the addition of a honey locust and olive tree to the garden, it’s not long before Lesley is stunned to see her pointy plot transformed into a Mediterranean marvel.

Oh my gosh, lee picked up on the flowers in her vases, and those yellow curtains.
I wonder why she didn't want a table and chairs for dining?
What a beautiful garden. Well done Lee
As a rule , I prefer a subtle approach to a garden so was drawn to Chris‘s plan …liked the off-white for the shed , not as stark , his fountain and the idea of installing wire across the Pergola for vine support…but I don‘t think he had a big enough entertaining space for the client. Lee did a good plan …the planter at the pointy end of the garden is a great idea…good choice of flowering plants and trees…but just hope that metal planter is not too much in the way at the entrance …the bright blue and phallic fountain…..meh… will it remind her of Greece ? or it‘s classic male statuary 😉 ;)))))

Beautiful little Garden.
nice, althoug a little on the tacky side. Wonder if the neighbours like the locust tree growing well into their gardens.
Just love Lee’s designs!
TFS ❤❤😊😊
all these new build gardens on greenbelts never have any access for wildlife .. just little cells.. poor wildlife.
why keep that shed?? if you're not keeping a lawn you don't need a mower…. get rid of the shed then you'd have 15 percent more land space
I can't get on board with this one. The blue is just out of place in the neighborhood. The water feature looks like something you put together at the hardware store. But I am glad she likes it:)
He did notcompletely paint the door. He missed the inside of the door facing and the brown could still be seen
I think the garden shed should have been repositioned…. It was unfortunate that it was such an awkward shape garden to begin with…
I don't know how they pick the designers, perhaps location based? But these designs were too similar! Would've loved to see Flo or Charlie's designs for this garden
It s not pronounced "enveloped "(as in envelope) but en vel opt….this is the pronunciation…. obviously spelt as enveloped….laughed so much!!!!😂
These designers are all good but absolutely nobody has Charlie s ability, charm, wit,TV presence or designer ability…..she s the absolute best for me ,followed by the Rich brothers….
I would have moved the shed to the bottom of the garden, into the pointy bit. And grass will grow a underground metre to come up somewhere so it is not going to work to fill the raised beds with it.
Would love to see this garden in two years!
Sorry for the poor dog – no grass.
