Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea are home to such incredible rides as Journey to the Center of the Earth, Indiana Jones Adventure and Tower of Terror, as well as some classics such as Big Thunder Mountain, Splash Mountain and Haunted Mansion, but now with Fantasy Springs opening with Anna & Elsa’s Frozen Journey, Peter Pan’s Neverland Adventure, Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival and CHEESE it’s harder than ever to know which rides are the best and which ones you should skip.

What do you think? Disagree with my rankings? Let me know in the comments!

  1. Mate, thank you so much for such an in-depth video on the parks, I just adore how happy and excited you are to talk about the parks and its rides!

  2. I wish the American parks would be handed over to OLC to handle them. DCA and park would get the love they rightfully deserve and need for decades.

  3. I’m not sure if you accept requests, but please do a video where you rank some of the former Tokyo Disney resort attractions, like the ones that no longer exist in the parks?

  4. Seeing Splash at number 2 and knowing what Disney has done with the ride in the US is so heartbreaking💔

  5. Splash Mountain is forever top tier, the people who hate it especially the ones who call it "racist" really don't have appreciation for creative things

  6. Great video! Sinbad being at #3 is too low but at the same time I somehow agree with this ranking haha

  7. Thanks for this helpful rundown, in a few months Tokyo will be my first Disney park/s ever! Just enough to sell a ride, without too many spoilers.

  8. It's a little bit disappointing they couldn't have English too phantom manor at Disneyland Paris says things in french and English

  9. You'll be able to ride Splash Mountain in the year 2050. There's zero chance OLC will spend $100M+ to change it into something less appealing.

  10. I went to Disneysea right before the pandemic hit, and even though it was the busiest day imaginable, every ride, precinct and show I experienced left me speechless. Particularly Journey to the Centre of the Earth, Tower of Terror, and Indiana Jones

  11. Our first international trip with the kids will be Japan. We need for the kids to see splash mountain. Tragic what they did here.

  12. I went in to Journey to the center of the earth blind, and assumed its drop was minuscule…then…

9/10, Great ride, never going on again.

  13. I think it’s commendable that Tokyo haven’t made all the negative changes the other parks have done. Replacing Splash Mountain, censoring pirates and Jessica Rabbit, ‘updating’ effects that don’t need updating.

Wether you think these changes are right or wrong for the modern politically correct US parks, it’s important for the sake of preservation that Japan has refused to change in the same way. And for that reason Tokyo Disney has a special place in my heart. I hope they never change, they don’t need to.

  18. It was long and I enjoyed every minute of it. Your voice reminds me of Dream Finder or the Mad Hatter. You are so enthusiastic. My only trip Sinbad was closed and so was SplashMountain. Great video I just subscribed.

  19. Love the effort and quality put into this video – this is informative and resourceful yet entertaining with how personal it is. I watched this over a span of 3 days haha.

Just moved to the japan and started listening to your poscast also. Thanks for doing what you do!

  20. Sorry for seeing this almost two weeks later, I was actually in California having a great time at Disneyland when you uploaded this, but great ranking!! Lots of rides I want to go on in your top 10.

I was especially glad to see Splash Mountain so high on your list. I agree with all the wonderful things you said about it and I just really hope that The Oriental Land Company can keep it around for decades to come and that I’ll get to ride it someday. I definitely missed Splash Mountain when I was at Disneyland last week!

  21. it seems crazy to me that all the shows are only in Japanese. As someone who grew up at Disneyland Paris, all the shows are a mix of french and english. We also have the stitch character show and there's two every hour, one in english and one in french

  22. I love roller coasters, I have lined up for days of my life for roller coasters. I hate Raging Spirits. I spent one day at DisneySea (not enough time) and as night rollled around found myself at the back of the park and the alure of the temple and flames lighting up the night sky was impossible to ignore, I think the posted wait was 45 mins. Not only is the ride hidden from view, but so it the queue. It has the most deceptive queue I have ever experienced where you constantly think you are nearly there, and then you aren't. I think I lined up for two hours in the end and the ride could never live up to that wait, it's just not that sort of ride. Just tainted that ride for life for me, funny how experiences like that paint rides in different lights for all of us.

  23. So surprised at Peter Pan being number ten. That ride made me the most emotional! Goes to show everyone’s experience is different.
